The compressor is extremely quiet.

This air compressor not only works well it is actually quiet! Seriously, I was surprised at how quiet it is, I can use it indoors and still carry on a conversation without raising my voice. Looks like it is well made and it holds air for a week without losing much at all.

I bought this compressor on sale and for what I paid this thing is amazing. The aluminum tank makes it light enough to carry around to where it's needed. It's unbelievably quiet. I currently also have one of those cheap red pancake compressors and that thing is so noisy it feels like your getting a root canal every time it runs. I don't use this new compressor very often, but it holds air for quite some time and even if the tank runs low it doesn't take long to refill. You're not going to be able to run any high demand tools with this thing, but for a nail gun, filling tires and a few quick, short squirts with a blow gun it's great. I don't know how it will hold up long term, but everything came screwed together tightly and for occasional use I can't complain at all.

Nice and quiet compared the a pancake one I bought, so it's great for airbrushing use in my condo! Haven't had any problems with it yet. Fills up fast!

Excellent!! By that I mean that it pressurizes in less than 1 minute, is exceptionally quiet, (you are able to easily converse while it is running). I would highly recommend this product. Used it to inflate towable 3 person “couch” for behind our boat in the hotel room. It’s that quiet.

Great Chinese product, NOT California made. Be aware that Home Depot charges much higher prices in-store than online for many products. Compressor is much quieter than my older red pancake style compressor.

Failed after a year and a half of very light use. Motor burned up even though it has never been on for more than 20 to 30 seconds at a time with at least 1 minute between any restarts.

Great compressor, light weight and plenty of air volume. Would have gotten a 5 but on/off switch could be better positioned. Still a great buy.

It is quiet and light enough to drag with me .... that is what I wanted. It works great for everything I need it to do ... trim and my air powered caulk gun. I haven't tried to drive a framing nailer, but I have another, bigger portable compressor for that.

I bought this to do airbrush painting on carvings. I am very happy with it. It has an aluminum air tank so should never get rust

I bought this compressor to conduct fossil preparation in a home environment. It’s very quiet, and the compressor doesn’t continually go on and off. I would recommend this to anyone using it indoors. The words “ultra quiet” are true. Congratulations to California Air Tools for getting it right.

I have owned several compressors over the years and this has to be my favorite by far. First of all it is extremely quiet which was my primary reason for purchasing, but it is also lightweight. Also this air compressor does not take very much time to build pressure and then turn off.
