I wanted a compressor that is quiet and easy to pick up and carry. My old pancake compressor got a rust hole in the tank. This one is extremely quiet as advertised. I like the drain valve that's easy to access. I use it for running pneumatic nailers on remodelling projects and whenever else I need portable compressed air. I like it.

I have only owned this product for a short time. However, my initial experience has been excellent. It is quiet and what a welcome relief. If you in a workshop it makes the work atmosphere much less annoying. There were two issues from the review concerned me: the compressor leaked badly and it caught fire.
Mine will remain charged over over night and in fact over the weekend. No problem there. It hasn't overheated in my experience. I'll continue to keep an eye out. However, so far, great.

Compressor is very light and balanced at the handle. Easy to carry. When it’s turned on and pumping it’s so quiet you wonder if it’s even working. Good recovery rate, able to keep up with the nail gun. Very happy with purchase

Amazingly quiet, especially compared to the old oiless large compressor I have been using for years. Wanted something that takes up less space and can be easily transported to the basement workshop and other rooms. This one is light (aluminum tank), pressurizes the tank quickly for filling tires, handles my nail guns just fine. Should have bought it years ago.

Even quieter than i thought. No issues doing inside trim work. I can hold a conversation while standing next to the compressor. It is fairly heavy but it truly shines for indoor work.

The best to date, bar none.
I had one of the pancake style air compressor, worked great, but the noise was unbearable, this California Air is absolutely the best, it is light enough to be portable every where, when you pick it up, it does not lean to one side, the weight distribution is excellent and very quiet, it can still be heard, but you could actually maintain a normal conversation while it is functioning. I would highly recommend this product.
