Out of 11 boxes of flooring (242 square feet) there were only a few pieces that had factory defects. Most of those were usable by cutting out the defects so not a big problem. The flooring has some knots and what might be pitch pockets that give it a somewhat more rustic look than the photographs I viewed. Again, not a problem as I like the look of it. There was a good mix of short and long pieces. I'm not a flooring professional, but I have worked as a carpenter most of my life. I encountered no problems installing this flooring.

A very nice hickory hardwood. Color is rich and consistant without extreme color variations as can be the case with other hickory styles.Would recommend this product.

Worked out well for us looks great easy to install

The floors are beautiful, but there were a lot of short pieces and also ones that were not acceptable, so we ended up having to order an extra box to make up for it. Overall, we're happy with it and the color matched well to previously installed floors of 2" width that we installed about ten years ago. There was a step down into the newly remodeled space, so the color consistency was important since we were changing the width of the boards in the updated space. We have two dogs, and the finish on the floors is holding up very well considering how much abuse it gets (we have a house in the country, with pets, and men who don't remember to take their boots off on a pretty regular basis).

Buyer Beware: Let me start off by saying that I LOVE HOME DEPOT and I appreciate how they stand behind their products. This flooring is great if you are willing to purchase 3 times more than you need in order to find boards that are straight, properly milled and NOT FULL of worm holes. I get that this is supposed to be a rustic floor, but let's not misconstrue "rustic" for 2nd hand flooring. We spent twice as much money on installation and product due to the incredible number of damaged pieces. My contractor opened box after box, selecting a few "usable" pieces from each and telling me the rest was GARBAGE, his exact words. We also wasted way too much money on shipping the product to my home and then hours of packing up the crappy pieces (endless) and lugging them back to the store. I am soooooo sorry that I did not go with Mirage or any other brand as this truly cost 3x what it should have when all was said and done! I am not at all confident at how this flooring will wear over time, but I will be sure to post again and let you know!

After searching various hardwood flooring brands my good friend who installs hardwood flooring for a living told me to go by Bruce. He said it's durable, will not split when you need to cut it and is long lasting. My wife and I decided to go with the Hickory because it's one of the most hardest woods so we figured it would last a long time. The finish is fantastic and looks great. We have done our living room and dining room. in a week or so we will have my friend do the front hallway, kitchen and family room (new kitchen) When he was installing in the living room and dining room he actually had to have me get him a new blade for his drop saw. He said this is as hard as cement! High quality product that looks great, seams together real tight, and wont move or expand for years.

Very little waste pieces so far. Good consistent finish.

Beautiful hardwood!

I ended up with about half a carton or more of defective pieces. Since I paid $105 a carton that's over $50 of defects that I could not use. I barely had enough to finish my floor

I was dissatisfied with all the knot holes in the wood. The floor is uneven from board to board so when you slide something across the floor it hits the edge of the board next to it. I have only had the floor down for a short time, but it is already getting scratched up. Over all, it does not look bad.

I already has this in several rooms. Only negative the two boxes I just got had only short pieces. Only one 4’ is piece in ea box.For a hallway it works out but I would not have been happy in a larger room. The plus side was I was still able to get the exact wood nearly 3 yrs later.

You guys leaving the reviews are all luckier than me. I ordered 12 boxes online and found defect members almost up to 4 boxes. Broken edges, holes in top surface, and many crooked longer ones. And better yet, it is now totally unavailable after I just bought part of them?!?!?!

Bruce floors are the only wood floors I put in my home. Best on the market.

I HAVEN'T RECIEVED IT YET! My product was due, at latest, a week ago. the tracking simply states: in transit, but will no longer tell me where its at. My project gets further behind. I know you will redirect me already.

didn't even get it off the truck, boxes where torn up, pieces broken. Very sad and disappointed. Stinks that someone would even think anyone would accept such trash!

We liked the way it looked however it does not use any standard tongue and groove system so if you buy some of this flooring it will all need to be this flooring. We were trying to mix and match but it did not work. Also, the flooring colors do not look like the photo online.
