Missing hardware, 1/2 adjustment for the grass thatch is not an accurate recommendation, had to adjust it.

I bought this because my lawn (~.7 acres) had some thatch buildup underneath the existing centipede grass. This spring the grass was struggling so I decided to order this, and I got 4 44gallon bags of thatch out of my front yard (.3 acre). The wheels and the way they're not on an axle leave something to be desired, but for typical, flat residential uses this product works quite well especially for the value.

Assembly was strihht forward without issue. Works as intended.

Needed a dethatcher for our large yard. This fit the bill. Assembly was simple. Works great. I can see many years of use out of this baby.

Used it today in our 5 acre pasture. Good quality steel, tines hardware. The wheel assembly instructions are incorrect though. If you follow them, the wheels won’t turn/roll freely. Easy fix though. The weight tray has three distinct sections…unfortunately, only the two outside sections will fit concrete blocks…the middle section is too short. Also, sides are not tall enough to keep the blocks from falling out-had to use bungee cords to hold them in. Overall, glad I purchased it. Transporting is easily done by simply attaching the unit tines up-nice feature. I like the Brinly brand.

Used it this spring twice to loosen the winter compaction and dethatch some of last year's growth. Expecting good results.

Easy assembly and was very please with the amount of thatch it pull up. A lift handle would be nice to raise thatcher to clear driveway and walkways.

Use as manure rake in pasture. Works great and easy to tow

Pretty easy to put together. Worked great to dethatch my yard. One of the bolts holding the spring-tines broke off after about an hour which will be easy enough to replace and was hopefully a fluke. A worthwhile investment if you have a lot of grass to dethatch.

Easy to assemble. Works well. Uncertain about its durability since I have only used it twice.

The dethathcher seems to be sturdy and built well. Did a good job on my lawn. Assembly takes a little time but instructions are clear.

I use the thatcher to "rake" my seashell driveway. It is a rather long and curved driveway. My big issue is the growing of weeds. Keeping them at bay is always difficult. The Thatcher allows me to rake the drive to pull out those deadly weeds. Then I use a chain link fence to smooth the surface. My current 10 year old thatcher was falling apart due to the SW Florida weather. My replacement I have primed and painted it for prevention of the Florida weather. We will see how it lasts. Don't miss my point, the thatcher is great. Did not hesitate to purchase a replacement. If anything I wish it had more rust pretection.

My dethatcher arrived within one week of ordering. It was surprisingly easy to assemble with clear instructions and illustrations. I found it easy to level with my garden tractor. My first project was prepping one-half acre of meadow for wildflower seeding. It worked great. I used bungee cords to strap on some extra weight to increase dethatching and to slightly till soil. Tip for transporting the device to work site once leveled: I have a garden dump cart for pulling behind my garden tractor. It is ideal for carrying the dethatcher. The tines cradle nicely over the sides of the cart, plus I can carry any additional tools I may need. I am very happy with this product and would purchase it again.

The thatcher is good, but, the way the wheels are connected won't work. The wheels are connected by bolts and the wheels will come off when the bolts come loose. There are no cotter keys to hold the wheels on.

Excellent value. For the price, it's built very well and does an excellent job of dethatching. Initial assessment is 'excellent' - only time and usage will indicate product longevity. Very happy with the purchase.

Assembly wasn't much fun! Opened the bags of nuts, bolts, etc and separated into piles. I was missing one bolt. Didn't bother contacting manufacturer to replace. Luckily I found a replacement at home. As far as the function it did a good job. Will use again next spring...

A great price of equipment. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the prices and very easy to assemble. I was impressed with the job that it did dethatching my lawn. I can say this is the first time using it but if it continues to impress each time I use it, I will consider this a great purchase.

Sturdy, very well made and did a great job thatching. Wished wheels were not fixed so it could be raised and lowered when crossing over cement & asphalt while in motion. Added a rope to lift so as not to damage hard surface

Good quality easy assembly worked as expected.

Did the job. Could be easier to adjust. Lost a bolt, nut and lock washer after the first use. I would recommend using nylock nuts instead of lock washer and nut.

Great unit except it really needs a good way to raise the body for travel.
