Great results highly recommend

The color was no where near the color it was suppose to be. The painters put it on one side of the house before I got back home and it was ruby red lipstick color not mission tile. My Neighbors were worried that was the color

Sprayed the roof 2 coats, and it flowed smoothly through my sprayer. Looked even and beautiful after drying. Customer was super happy. I will absolutely purchase this again for the next metal roof I have to paint for a customer's home.

While I am not in the business of painting roofs, though I am a licensed engineer in California and have professional experience with roof systems. I have experience painting my asphalt-shingle roof with white, exterior, 100% acrylic latex paints over a period of about 20 years. I have never had an issue of any kind. The temperature reaches an average high of about 95 degrees in July. The south (sun)-facing side of the roof gets the brunt of the sun. The other sides are shaded through part of the day which caused significant moss growth, loosening shingles. Results of painting with this coating (colored white): A complete stop to the moss growth, thus no need to install the $150.00 worth of zinc strips I purchased to prevent moss growth. 3-4 degree cooler house. Since I painted the roof white it stays cooler which also slows the normal degredation of shingles which happens over time since the degredation is increased with temperature. The sand granules on the shingles no longer come off as they are sealed to the shingle by the paint. The shingles are glued together by the paint. Normally, the adhesive under asphalt shingles looses its stick over time. I have found that acrylic latex paint seals the shingles together and actually changes the roof system from a system of separate shingles to a one-unit membrane-like system, much more durable than an asphalt shingle roof (this requires 3 coats and ensuring the first coat of paint is applied in no more than moderately warm weather as in hot weather the paint could dry before seeping under shingles [I thinned the first coat to help ensure it did not dry too soon]). I did not use the primer though in the future I would use it on unpainted shingles since it is less expensive than than the roof paint.

it says it will cover about 450 sq ft the one Gal can only covered 100 sq ft would not buy this product again or any other BERH product now it is a rip off only covered less than 1/4 of what it says it will cover

For the outside garage project walls

A great product that completely transformed the look of our house.! Would definitely recommend. One thing though, our metal roof was unique because it had shingle type material baked on to the surface. Our roof was approximately 2400 sq.ft. Using a sprayer, it took over 15 gallons to cover, but the look is fabulous.!

Very easy to apply on my asphalt roof after a first layer of primer. One bottle was enough for 3 layers to cover 700 sq feet of my roof

It is an unpleasant service, the shipping system said it would arrive on October 6, I had everything planned for work on Saturday 7th, now it arrives on October 11, the shipping system is inefficient, I do not recommend this purchase.

I used this in a 25 year old asphalt roof that was very faded. The color is perfect slate black. I thinned it per recommendations to try and get a bit better coverage in creases. 5 gallons will cover about 700 sq ft. I used 7.5 gallons on 1k sqft roof. See before and after photos.

Re-shingled our shed with half black and half gray shingles. This shingle paint did an excellent job making everything look uniform. All beautiful matching black shingles now. Worked very well.

was not to sure how painting shingles would work out but was pleasantly surprised

Paint went on very well with roller and sprayer. Multiple coats is a MUST but it drastically improved the look of my 10 year old roof! Will have to wait to see how it holds up over time but very pleased initially!

It was white (not gray). I was on the roof when I opened it and couldn't stop and return it to the store (ARRGH!) I called the 800- number and Jason (emp#336395) was nice but could do nothing for me. I asked for a credit for the gallon. If I am satisfied with the FUNCTION of the product, I have to cover the white with an additional gallon and will request a credit for the gallon bought.
