Dang thing broke twice wouldn’t stay on the pipe. White flange inside leaked bought another one, did the same thing.

Hello, we are sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced when installing the SharkBite Reducing Tee. The main reason for failure is not pushing the fitting to the full insertion depth. For a 1 in. SharkBite fitting, the insertion depth is 1.31 in. For a 3/4 in. fitting, the insertion depth is 1.10 in.
