Had an old compression brass valve that provided weak pressure to my refrigerator and would no longer shut off. Simply spliced in a SharkBite Tee with a larger shut off value and back in business. Super clean and easy install in less than 20 minutes. I've used multiple SharkBite applications and never had an issue.

Sharkbite fitting take the fear out of plumbing. This fitting allowed me to make one cut in a 3/4 inch copper water pipe and connect 1/2 inch Pex for a new outdoor faucet. No soldering and no leaks. A truly amazing product.

Repaird leak in wall thanksgiving holiday without a plumber or solder. True diy, great product. This, some 1/2 pcpvc and 1/2 sharkbite connector did the job!

As long as you properly cut and deburr your pipe, they work as they should.

Don't use it on old work. If there's solder or blemishes on the pipe it won't make a good seal. I've tried a few areas in my house to create a shutoff valve and install tees. Use a compression fitting to convert to new pipe then try it

These works great for reducing 3/4" supply lines to 1/2" for shut off valves and other water supply purposes. I used this fitting to reduce a 3/4" copper line to 1/2" CPVC line for an icemaker supply this time. It pushes on fast and stays on tight. No leaks with full pressure. This can also be removed in under a minute using Shark Bite's simple clip release tool available at Home Depot as well. I've used Shark Bite fittings for some time and plan on continuing to do so.

Used the SharkBite to replace a saddle valve used for the water supply line for a refrigerator on 3/4 inch CPVC pipe to 1/2 PEX. Installation was easy and no leaks.

When you need the right parts the only place to go is Home Depot. They always have what you are looking for in quality products. Had a Water break this past Sunday and this fitting was just what we needed to get the water back on. Thank you, Home Depot, for always being there for me!!!!!

I was able to repair my piping quick, fast and efficiently, without having to call an expensive professional plumber. If i am able to make repairs on my own, I'll always use Shark Bite first.

I am really glad this product exists. I am not a plumber but I’ve got some know-how, so it allowed me to install my own water line to my fridge! This made it so I didn’t have to worry about improperly welding my pipes. Easy to install. I’ve had it installed for about a month and haven’t had any issues. Withholding 5 star just because not enough time has passed.
