A:  Hi, The SharkBite 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in x 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Brass Reducing Tee can be buried under ground. It must be wrapped in a silicone wrap to protect it from the soil. PEX (ASTM F876, CSA B137.5), Copper (ASTM B 88), CPVC (ASTM D 2846, CSA B137.6), PE-RT (ASTM F 2769), HDPE (SDR-9 ASTM D2737). A:  Hi, The SharkBite 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect Brass Reducing Tee can not be used on polybutylene. We do have several fittings that can be used on polybutylene pipe but they aren't reducing tees. I've attached a link to the polybutylene fittings that we do make.
