A: Yes this will fit on any size sliding door. The size is being small medium large and extra large are for the opening for the dog to go through.

A: YES! We have two extra-large for our Doberman Pinschers in bedroom sliders, and one in the back door. We bought a large one for our son's patio slider for his Malamute. There is nothing complicated in the installation. Just slip the panel onto the rails, top and bottom, and adjust the fit with the buttons. Then slide on the strip of rubber insulation. Eliminates getting up and down to let them in/out!

A: Thank you for your question! It is recommended to always size your pet door for the largest pet in your home. Since your Yorkies are having difficulty getting over the rise, we recommend installing a step or two on each side of the pet door to help them get through the opening. This allows them to have easy access to the door while not restricting your Border Collie's use of the door.

A: We do have a vinyl door frame on our sliding patio door and the pet door works great! We did have to remove in the winter since it is north facing and the strong north winds kept opening the flap. It is very easy to remove and install, so this wasn't an issue for us.
