        Answer This Question

A:  Hello. We do not offer a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm with the plug exactly in the center of the back of the alarm. Call us at 1-800-880-6788 and we can talk about your needs and what we might have that might work instead.

            False alarm nightmare
Love: simplicity to install! Basically you push a button and they all interconnected wirelessly. Bad: False alarms on a weekly basis, stop button did not work. Guys, the falls alarms are a killer, specially if it happens during the night! Also bad: After one year, two smoke alarms (out of 6) went bad. It tells you there is an error message. Customer Service: requested new detectors. Phone call went great but they shipped the wrong product. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT.

Hello. We were out of stock of this model at the time. The person you talked to should have told you that and that you were getting a different model. Call us back at 1-800-880-6788 as we have this model in stock now and we can get you the correct replacement. False alarms are most commonly caused by something interfering with the sensor. To clean the alarm, hold the unit by its edge and thoroughly blow through the gap on the side of the unit with compressed air (like keyboard cleaner). We recommend cleaning out all of your smoke alarms at least every 6 months to a year and at this point we would recommend cleaning out all of your other alarms as well as a preventative. If you have interconnected alarms, the first step is finding the initiating unit, as that is the key. See the owner's manual. Some of your alarms may be in one the locations to avoid listed in the owner's manuals. This would especially include alarms being installed within 3 ft (.9m) of a forced air supply ducts used for heating or cooling, ceiling or whole house ventilating fans, or other high air flow areas. We recommend that alarms not be installed near vents, flues, chimneys, or fans. We recommend that alarms not be installed near doors or windows near areas directly exposed to the weather. We strongly recommend not to install these alarms in garages, attics, and crawl spaces as you will get temperatures, dust, insects, and chemicals that can cause nuisance alarms.

Easy to install, but it took a long time for it to try to find, or in our case , not find other identical detectors. Our other detectors are Kidde, so they are compatible. The power went out about a week ago and the new detector with a 10 year battery back up began beeping as if the battery needed to be replaced. We were eventually get it to stop after pressing the test button several times.

Its alright for a wireless alarm
The P4010ACS-W was the first bridge P4010 unit I acquired for my collection and I would say its average. I really do appreciate the Wire-Free system. The Wire-Free system makes it easy for you to connect your battery operated units to your hardwired units! The light sensor disables chirping until light is detected in the room; when it chirps, has a connection issue or has an error, the amber LED clearly distinguishes the which unit is at fault. The bug screen helps with insect reduction as well. Now onto the performance. When I tested this with Smoke Centurion, it activated within 5-10 seconds (which is very critical in a real smoke event), as well as a voice to warn you (or your younger children) of danger. 1 minor Hush issue. The hush feature works, but you have to wait a few minutes after the initial event. This would be suitable for a child's bedroom, living room or applications where there's a mix of hardwired and battery alarms.

COMPLETE JUNK, FALSE ALARMS, DIFFICULT SETUP
This smoke alarm has regular false alarms for no reason, then impossible to reset. Too complicated to install, set up, etc.. Don't wast your hard earned money on this junk!

Just bought so I am limited to the install process for my review. Very easy to install and activate if you read the instructions. I do like the visual ring showing status and the volume is very good.Looking forward to not changing a battery for 10 years.

Works well with the App connected versions even though it is not App enabled. Some limitations, but an excellent lower price option to fill out a larger home. These were an upgrade from an expired set of hard-wired detectors and they are a great improvement.
