Very clean store, Johnsea is a amazing worker

Excellent customer service! Knowledgeable, friendly management and employees who work together to put the customer first. I was able to find what I needed and was also given immediate assistance to help finalize the purchase.

This Home Depot must have gotten new employees or else a class in customer service. It is a pleasure to go to this store. Employees are so helpful and friendly.

Although I do love my local Home Depot there have been some theft issues that concern a LOT of our residents. It seems as if you can just walk in, fill a buggy, and walk out without fear of consequences. We understand they employees are NOT to confront the thieves for their own safety; however, we also feel that theft such as what has been happening is making OUR prices go up to compensate for the merchandise loss. The less Home Depot does something about it the more it will happen as well as price increases. It would seem Home Depot would want to employ some type of security personnel to #1 make the employees and customers feel safe AND to keep our prices as low as possible. With the appearance of Home Depot doing nothing about these thefts, it gives the perception they don't care about keeping their prices low, forcing the consumer to shop elsewhere. Remember, become PROACTIVE in eliminating this issue instead of REACTIVE. I would highly suggest addressing this with the local shoppers. Take a look at Zachary Rants & Raves on FaceBook. The employees are friendly and helpful,the store is clean and organized.

The return policies are a total rip off! They take a profit on the sale and then give you reduced value on the return. I returned an item that was too small and took a loss and then bought the correct length item the same day and they took a profit on that item so they get you going and coming. This store also does not have a sufficient number of associates to assist you in finding what you need and no one to help you load once you purchase an item such as multiple bags of concrete. I had to load all the bags of concrete I purchased by myself and no store employee asked me if I could use some help. Whatever happened to customer service? It does not exist at this store. The Manager should be ashamed.

Many of the people are very friendly and knowledgeable, I’m happy to see that some of the lazy young people that were there are no longer. I enjoy shopping at the Zachary store, I know a number of the people there and they are always pleasant and helpful.

My experience in the store was great. The installation I paid for was not. installation for a toilet was $179. the flange was broken and had to be replaced. Home Depot has contracted with Central Plumbing, Central La. and Central charged me an additional $245 to replace just the broken flange. I ended up paying $424 to have my toilet installed. That's not right. Home Depot find another plumber

I had visited two other stores within the week and the Zachary Store was well stocked and all of the associates that I incountered was friendly and helpful. That small town felling of carding.
