All the staff I met were friendly and helpful

Nothing but problems with the shopping experience and the product purchased. Department staff and store manager where unwilling to help and said item was fine when purchased but the dryer hasn’t worked since day one. After being told we could not return or exchange the dryer, we were told that perhaps the item was clearances because someone else returned it. So, they sell a defective item and offered no help in fixing the situation.

The staff make the difference here. It's a clean, well-stocked store. The Staff and Store managers are super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, courteous and patient and are willing to help you out. I have completely remodeled a kitchen and full bath and I will shop there again...

I went into this location to find a nut to fit the bolt that had come loose on my wheelchair backrest. While looking through the aisle I dropped my bolt and couldn't find it anywhere. Dan spent 45 minutes helping me until we found the perfect nut bolt combo to hold me over until I could get to the wheelchair repair place. I truly appreciated his help and friendly smile.

products are in stock almost all of the time. Store is well kept, and there are very very knowledgeable employees that work here that can assist me through a variety of projects. generally speaking, every experience I've had at the store has been positive. Even if I may not get exactly what I want, I'm at least given other options in terms of ordering online, getting information on when is shipment is coming in etc etc. this is a terrific store and I'm very grateful that it is close by and provides good information through its employees, as well as an overall positive experience for me!

Although HD doesn't carry what I came in for, I would shop there before your competitors. The employees at the Yorkville store were all friendly & helpful. I've been to other stores & been ignored when I tried to get help, or simply couldn't find anyone in the dept or surrounding areas to help.

I had a list a mile long for large items I needed for my basement build out. A whole bunch of flooring, and doors, and all of the odds and ends that go along with that. I was greeted by a guy named Paul who saw my list and introduced me to the flooring guy Chris, who got my order all put together, made sure it was in stock and then brought it to the front. Then Paul brought me to Bill in millwork and Bill found EVERYTHING I needed, and included a few items I hadn't considered (the correct bifold doors and their jambs). Paul and Bill worked to get my entire order put together and brought up front, and then Paul helped oversee the awesome loading guys as they put everything into my father in law's minivan for the short trip home. Next time I'll just look for Paul, Bill, or Chris. They were awesome.

I've purchased almost all my appliances at this store and I'm very happy with it. Even when the dishwasher leaked, they responded timely and I was very satisfied. I would recommend this store because the people are all very helpful and pleasant.

This Store has the best Employees of all the competitors. Always have someone offering to assist you and they actually can. Have the knowledge to do so. Sometimes a bit light on staff but the ones that are there can certainly help you

I've shopped at Home Depot for over 25 years. I am very pleased with the Yorkville Il store. It's not only convenient but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If they can't resolve your question then they stay with you until they locate someone who can. I like the straight forward approach to servicing customers. That's why Home Depot has become America's best DIY store

The day we bought these chairs it happened by accident. I have some back problems and accidentally sat in the Greeter's chair by the entrance. I hopped out of it when I saw she came walking back to her post and we were talking. Along comes the assistant store manager who had observed this, and he offered to get me a chair. He brought me an outdoor aluminum sling chair to sit in. It was the exact color I had been looking for. I bought the last two from the Yorkville store, and he got on the phone and found me six more elsewhere right away. Who does this kind of thing any more? We left that store marveling at the professionalism of David and all the people around him that day. What a nice experience shopping there was. We had such amazing service from the assistant store manager, David, on 8.19.2018. This kind of personal service is becoming more rare these days and we walked away feeling so appreciative.

Helped by guy in hardware. very good at knowing what he was talking about helped me find deck screws and fasteners. trees were 50% off too so that helped me out that this was mentioned. new homeowner in the area and real like that I can get things easily and quickly.

The staff at this location is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. I shop at this location for anything from paint, carpet and plants to lightbulbs. Not a bad experience yet.
