I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE! If I could, I would rate it a 0! Horrible customer service! Even after asking to speak speak with a manager, I was still treated with disrespect and rudeness. I’ll stick with Lowe’s where they treat their customers with respect and dignity!

The store's been fine for many months of my amateur woodworking learning curve. However, I got this one lady in customer service today who was a super duper rude pill. She wasn't even my service person, she just butted in. Accused me of being some kind of cheapskate for making a return of my $40 Ryobi corded drill near the end of the 180 day covid return period. That I was trying to use H.D. like a tool rental and would just buy and buy and buy the tool again. The chuck happened to seize up and be broken. I happened to be lucky that this happened when I could still return it "easily". Her opinion isn't even relevant, it's my satisfaction with entry level tools that DON'T BREAK, that matters. I've made this review and also filled out a survey so that H.D. Corporate gets the message that they've got someone who needs some retraining. I've decided not to hold it against the entire store, FOR NOW. One more incident remotely like this though, and that's it, gone for good.

This is and has always been my FAVORITE store to shop for any and all my home project needs! Most of the Associates are VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. If I cant find what I am looking for someone there ALWAYS assists me in finding what I need.

The customer service people are so rude. Its as they are there to have an attitude. They do not care or want to help with purchase issues. They make it so inconvenient and hard to return or exchange stuff. Constantly rolling their eyes and talking about customers in from of you.

Today shopping in the Winston-Salem Home Depot it was a rare experience I must say for anywhere that I go to shop. But I must point out for individuals that help me from the time I walked down to the time I checked out. Steve in plumbing answered all my questions and was extremely helpful. Chris and electrical has help me before and always shows customer appreciation. Jackie in the paint department help me with a rust issue that I was having at home.*At the checkout help me with my gift cards and was super friendly. Great experience today at Home Depot! Keep up the great work it really does make people wanna come back and spend their money!!

I needed some plumbing parts and waited in the plumbing department for over an hour while the only person in that department went to lunch. No one else in the whole store could help me!! Too many employees there who don't know much about the store. It would be a good idea to know exactly what you need as the employees are not much help.
