I had to ask for help to locate an item THREE times and I waited more than 20 Min. When I complained to one of the managers by the name BOBBY, his respond was and I quote "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?". Is this the way HD managers talk to their customers and listen to their concerns? OR he was so Condescending and Rude, just because I was a Latino and not a White American.

I am NOT naive to believe that Home Depot will take any necessary actions to discipline its employees in responds to its customer's complaints. It is a well-known fact and truly a shame that HD top executives choose to distance themselves from their customers and move this great company’s culture toward bigotry. I am a Latino and although I have an Accent and look different from White Americans, I AM STILL A MAN who has the same right as anyone else. Yesterday, I went to Garden Center at HD in Westport #2305 Rd, Louisville, KY and I had the worst experience of my life. I was purchasing few bags of Gravel and during Check out, I realized that my HD card was missing, so I put my stuff aside to allow customers behind me go through and I let the cashier (his name was Conner) know that I probably have left my Card inside HD store which I did some shopping earlier and I needed to run and grab it. On my return, the cashier (Conner) asked me to step aside and let him complete the checkout of a customer who he was processing at the time, which I gladly accepted. However, while I was standing right in front of him, he went ahead and processed THREE more customers who were behind me. I finally decided to remind him that he was the one who asked me to step aside and wait for him to process my order. He was so rude and instead of apologizing, he responded and I quote “ YOU NEED TO CHILL DOWN MAN ”. I only have one question: Would he talked the same way to a White American?? Or he would simply say, I am sorry. When, I saw that White American’s time and respect are more important than a minority Latino like me, I start yelling and asked to see the Store manager (his name was BOBBY). However, the Store manager (BOBBY) was NO help either and after hearing my story, instead of apologizing and acknowledging my right which was flatly ignored, he made fun of me that I am too sensitive. Is this how Home Depot train its Store Managers to be impartial and tolerant of other cultures?? Do these people go through any cultural training and realize that having a different Skin Color or Accent DOES NOT make you inferior and less worthy than others?? Although, I understand that Home Depot DOES NOT care, but I will never spend another dim in your store.

This store is always well stocked and I have received excellent advise from their employees. Today it was advice on what I needed to replace a very old light switch that was no longer made. In the past I have received excellent service from multiple employees in the paint department. Lot's of home goods stores carry the same products at similar prices but not all employ knowledgeable staff that can help you out. Highly recommend this location!

I think that it'll be very convenient for Home-Depot to install the guidance plate for explaining goods position simultaneously at a time in front of the entrance.

Mark, Mike and Steve big help ordering custom patio door. Austin and Jarred helped me rekey my lock. Always treat my dog special and give him treats. Very pet friendly. My dog does not want to leave the store. Dogs know when they are around good people. Appreciate the employees helping me.

Just gotta make sure when buying sale items that they are marked right at checkout.

Cashier was so into pushing their religion and offering to take my 4 year old to their Sunday School that they weren’t even focused on the cash register screen to check me out.

David in flooring is very helpful. He knows a lot and tells you exactly what you need.

This store is better than the nightmare that is the Breckenridge Lane location which is why I go here. However, the cashiers (Sandra in particular) needs to be trained on acceptable conversation with customers. After I paid she tried to have a full on conversation about her political views when I was just trying to get back to work. It was bad enough that I had to do an emergency Home Depot run in the middle of the day, so I didn't need a cashier trying to have a super uncomfortable conversation about politics instead of letting me work.

We have several Home Depot stores in Louisville. There is actually one that is closer to where I live, but I will drive the additional distance to shop at the Westport Rd store because the employee's are always nice, very informative, and willing to help. Thanks guys.
