    I needed hardy board cement siding for my project, at this location they advise me to choose the siding, they explained me about the products, they gave me all the answers for my questions, they even follow up about the time leads, and the most important they deliver it on time, Great overall experience to shop at this location, and when I needed few more board because I was short, it was even more easy then I could imagine. great place to shop.       Pauline was the laziest unhelpful person employee I’ve ever met
      Pauline was extremely rude and lazy. Kept telling everyone go inside if you don’t want to wait so she wouldn’t have to do her job. And when you waited gave dirty looks and muttered under her breath like you were being a pain just being in the store. Will never come back

        Unprofessional and aggressive self-checkout attendants
        I had a terrible experience with loss prevention at self checkout. The scanner button stuck and I missed one item that I had a total of 3 of. One person came over to tell me to rescan one and I did, then she and another employee came over and harassed me, grabbing items out of my cart and telling me that I didn’t scan them, when it was clearly shown on the screen that I had scanned them. Even after I finished paying she ran up and said I have to pay for something else which I did ring up, and she grabbed the receipt out of my hand and the thing from the cart to check the numbers even though they could see everything I was scanning while I was doing it. They acted aggressively and made me feel unwelcome.

                Great store, bad credit card application policy!
                I love Home Depot but it is a very bad policy to have their cashiers ask people to sign up for a credit card. I might want to do that but I don't want to hold up the line of other customers. The cashiers have an incentive to get people to sign up and that kind of messes with the dynamic at the check out. I'm already in a rush, as you know it always takes longer than you think to get things at Home Depot, and I just want to keep going to get back to the job site to finish my project. But the question comes up, and there's even a nice discount if I sign up - I would have loved the $75 off my $300 purchase! But can't this happen in some other setting? It seems like a bad setup. A bad protocol. I'd be happy to be part of Home Depot with a credit card and discounts but to place this transaction, to start a credit account, right at the last moment when I'm just trying to get out of there, and to put the cashier in a bad spot where they are trying so hard to get the bonus or the quota, but you're just trying to say, thank you see ya, it's just a bad system design there. I hope the company can figure out a different way to engage with prospective credit account people (like me, happy to become one) but not then, when I'm in a rush and I don't want to hold up everyone else in the line who is trying to just get out of there and back to business. I'd be happy to talk to someone and delete this review if it could be addressed.

                  We met Bob when we shop for kitchen renovation project. With Bob's help we quickly made our decision and purchased range, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Bob helped with brand and model search, pricing, delivery set up and post-sale services.., supper! We made a friend with Bob.., that means we not only got the merchandise also got to know a good person, wonderful experience!

                    I want to recognize and thank Renata for her exemplary service and for going above and beyond in selecting and ordering appliances for my son’s new condo. My son is a 3rd resident doctor in Long Island hospital and working 6 days a week 14 hours a day and has no time. He got engaged so bought a condo that needed a new kitchen and flooring and his current lease is ending on July 30, 2021. The cabinets are being custom made and will be installed July 12. I am his dad, living in Boston, helping him out and spent 2 weeks online trying to buy appliances and washer and dryer to be installed before end of July and had no luck as everything was back ordered till Aug/Sept. I am a loyal customer of Home Depot and so I went to the Waltham store on Wednesday July 7 evening and was so blessed to have met Renata. I got there late at 9:30pm and store closed at 10pm but in that 30 minutes, Renata got all my specifications and choices and delivery information etc and said she would work on it on Thursday when she got in at 1pm for her shift. She said she would call me by 3pm to give me an update. I was impressed then by the level of detail Renata captures and her grace and patience. I was blown away by Renata when she called me at 3 and had packaged all 6 appliances to meet all my needs with a delivery date of July 19 – exactly what I wanted. When I got to the store at 6 pm, I was so impressed that Renata had got all the details of delivery, my contractor’s information, matched the specifications and created a printout of all the documents and packaged it professionally in a portfolio. This exceeded all expectations and exemplified the level of customer service unparalleled to what I have ever experienced. Unfortunately my contractor called me to say that the fridge dimensions had to be counter depth and only 30 inches wide to fit the custom cabinets. Renata was so polite and calm and said the system requires her to delete the entire order and that I could go home and rest while she searches for a fridge to meet the specifications and delivery date. I decided to wait as I wanted to pay. Home Depot unfortunately, to our surprise, does not have a fridge that is cabinet depth and 30 inches wide. This also resulted in me not getting the full promotion and discounts. Renata again went above and beyond and discussed the situation with her manager, Paul M. who was equally kind and understanding and provided some additional discount. I do hope if Renata is able to find the fridge that meets the specifications that you will provide me the discount I lost out on Renata, is truly amazing professional and takes complete ownership and coordinates every step, is so proactive, and goes way out of her way to make sure customers’ needs are met. Renata is also truly an amazing person and provides white glove concierge services. Renata quickly earned my trust and became my trusted advisor, provided me peace of mind, has highest integrity, is courteous and respects all, proactively provides every detail of information, manages expectations, and serves others unconditionally. I am honored to have met Renata and will refer her to all my friends. Please let me know what more we can do to ensure Renata gets recognized and rewarded for going above and beyond. Thank You

                    I have shopped this store for many years. Many great employees and I feel bad for them. My two recent experiences have me wanting to travel the extra several miles to Watertown. First, 3 nights ago, went to store for two pieces of plywood. Got them and went to back for one cut. Could not find anyone. Eventually found fasteners guy who said we would send someone. Waited, not sure how long, but to long. Found someone coming out of employee area near lumber, he says no on on that can cut wood. Went to front and purchased. Found manager and was told by the mgr he was the only one on that could do the cut and he was on his way (this was seriously like 20 minutes after I started looking for help). I said I didn't have any more time and had to leave, I was not rude to him but clearly was not all smiles. No apology, nothing. While I was speaking to that mgr I explained that a week ago or so I had come in for 16 pressure treated 2x4s. When I got in the store there were 2 or so in the bay. Got I guy, who was trying to be helpful, but he said none in store, delivery just arrived, hold on for about 45 minutes and I could get them. I got on the phone while waiting, 15 - 20 minutes into waiting, pacing the aisle, I look up and there is a whole stack of what I need on top tier of the bay. I point it out and sure enough was correct. I explained this to the mgr that night, after i had explained the wait for the plywood, said they need to do a better job,but again he seemed to care less (or maybe just has no idea what he is suppose to do as a mgr). I am sure my write up won't effect sales because of the convenient location but with that type of service I am sure they are losing customers, like me.

However, often times there are certain items that are not stocked well particularly hardware and those number stickers for your mailbox. I also had a recent experience where a manager was not able to help me with something that is in Home Depot’s policy. I recently lost a gift card that I purchased from this store and have the receipt from this purchase. Customer care has indicated that it is policy to replace lost gift cards if you can provide the receipt, credit card, and identification. However, the manager was not able to help with this request.

After Annmarie cut each blind she measured each one to make sure the measurement was accurate and they both were. As Annmarie was doing the cuts I explained to her that I was in the store last week on Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 to get these cuts done. I told Annmarie that I waited almost 30 minutes and no one came to help me or to tell me that there was no one to help me. I left the store as an unhappy customer.
