Due to logistics I had to make a custom purchase here at the West Roxbury location. I can not say enough about the entire staff from the cashier up to the manager, and especially Leah and Jane. SUPER helpful and went out of their way to help me get exactly what I needed even though I kept them there after closing on a long day. Even during closing they were trying to get me the best prjcung thru a sale and mfgr discounts. Above and beyond expectations! I am new to the area but this is my go-to home improvement store now.

The associates are usually anywhere from very to extraordinarily helpful, and are cheerful as well! This is even when I come to pick up an item that I reserved just before closing and folks are working on cleaning up…

The store is generally a mess. I try to go to Norwood or Watertown. Tonight Will Willinski and Big Tom made it a pleasure.

I was recently in HD to accompany my contractor who has language barrier, and HD in general is a place overwhelms me so I really did not enjoy being there. But I met Dick (RJH3546) and John ( JVC5442) when I placed special order on 2 occasions, they both made me feel much better leaving the store, not only because I got things done but also their personalities made my trips a pleasure. Dick was very calm, patient and helpful. His voice and mannerism took pressure away from me like I knew I could count on him to get the right answer. John was humorous and made me laugh. With two of them, I felt insulated from the craziness of the rest of the store. Yesterday I went back to the store and I was so pleased to see John there. This feeling made me realize that I should write this review so they are acknowledged

Hardware section disheveled. Packaged sets of wrenches hanging on racks with pieces missing. Items thrown on the display rack floors. Items moved all over the place. Aisles in the power tool area always blocked with displays or moving ladder / crow's nest equipment. Overall a good store, but still lacking good solid organization and cleanliness.

Very helpful staff , beautiful plants that are kept well watered and do so well in my garden and now classical music wafting through the parking lot I look forward to my weekend trips to the store

It is a well run store but they do have potholes in the driveway. I think they probably think it is the city's responsibility

Very helpful store personnel, particularly Melysa at the customer service counter. Wish the store carried water softener salt, as does the competition up the highway, but otherwise a very well stocked store.

If you're looking for help in the garden department look for an employee named Alan extremely professional and knowledgeable!

We purchased an American Standard toilet and installed the toilet. We went to install the tank top and found it was broken. We called the store and we were told we did not have to return the whole toilet . We came back with the tank lid and Joselyn was extremely helpful.

Incompetent employees in the key making section of store. Wasted my time having to go back with keys that didn’t work. Stood there wasting more time while 3 different employees couldn’t figure it out. Ultimately I got a refund. I will be going to my local family owned hardware store where the employees know what they’re doing.

There were many items missing in the store that I was looking for. I looked for associates , none could be found.

The Assistant Store Manager, Ricky, is amazing and a pleasure to work with. He's patient from start to finish, no matter how long it takes. The Pro Desk workers are also amazing. I would definitely recommend this store for your home improvement needs.

It doesn't matter the day or time, my experience at west roxbury home depot is always a pleasant one. The employees are professional, friendly, patient and extremely helpful. They are always there to help or lead in the right direction to the person who can help. Each time I leave the store, I always feel like I've accomplished a lot.

Nancy in the Appliance Department is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And Eric in Electrical is extremely knowledgeable and helpful too.
