Have gotten many plants, including a tree, from this store and have generally had better luck than with more costly plants from local area private garden shops and nurseries. I think they give good value for the money.

One thing about this store is that the customer service is above and beyond. This is your typical home Depot store but the people that work there are fantastic. On my past visit there I was helped by no less than 4 people. They were friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely visit this store again.

I bought almost 2 days in a week

I went in to exchange a faulty lightbulb when I was greeted by a very rude customer service representative. when I asked if the card needed to be swiped again to receive my refund, she didn’t even let me finish my question, and after that, she was very dismissive about getting me away from the counter and calling the next customer. Representative greeted me, or from what I observed anybody who enters the location and nobody said, thank you for shopping with us at the end of my return and repurchase. The representative at customer service was Yetra Devi according to my receipt.

Ms. Mary in the gardening department is very knowledgeable in this field, listens to your questions and addresses them accordingly, she is very friendly.

I had an amazing experience at this Home Depot because of their employee, Claudia! It was so refreshing to have her assist me. She brought joy to my day. Her customer service skills were excellent. I haven't experienced service like hers in a long time. Thank you, Claudia for your help. It is truly appreciated.

This location is like most location you buy what your looking for easy to find until it’s time to check out. Why are there cashiers checking people out at self check out and why does self checkout only accept cards

Pleasure shopping at the Valley Stream store. All employees are friendly, helpful and experienced.

This location, which I have been visiting for decades, is my go-to store. I know where everything is and even though there's turnover in most department, there are still enough familiar associates that I don't feel lost or as a stranger. Building is keep up and just a cool place

I purchased a freezer that was too small, went back to cancel the order and re-order a larger size. The experience was pleasant and professional thanks to Robin Persad, the Appliance Specialist.

The checkout staff are unorganized, don’t communicate with each other and make the simple complicated and walk about very confused!

My favorite employee is HASAN he is so patient help me throughout my shopping and purchase and is a very nice in general.

I had returns to make, and the ladies at the costumer service area, especially cashier Lori, haha helped the process to be smooth and effortless. She was also able to help me with my questions regarding tools and gadgets I could use for my upcoming project. I really enjoyed the experience and recommend anyone to come to this location. Lori has been a tremendous help with my questions and concerns, especially since I’m new to home renovations.

Thankful there is a wonderful employee name Lori who is patient polite and professional. if there is any employee that would deserve promotion and /or accolades it would be Lori.

I was helped by a sales cashier and Claudia and she was so patient when helping me pay a credit card bill it was very hectic and she was patient kind and helpful. She also rang me up and left me with the most amazing experience with her kind words which made me wanna shop again at Home Depot.

Doing a home project for my home. The store had a great variety of items

Employees do not answer pages, not enough staff, all I wanted to do was to switch out an empty propane tank, I waited over 45 minutes, the man in front of me waited over an hour.

Granted you have some excellent employees but FAR TOO MANY with lousy people skills

There were five employees around the cashier, one was working, the other four were not, with two of them just looking at their phones

Although the store has all the items one could want, it’s extremely hard to get help as the store seems to be understaffed. Checking out was very easy though.

This location always has the items & materials that I need.
