Many Home Depots are very clean and employees are never to be found. However, the Home Depot on University south of Oakland goes ABOVE and BEYOND in customer service. From the people on the floor, stocking, to the cashier-all have been very friendly and helpful. Remember, Sunrise, Florida's Home Depot on University, south of Oakland.

Do NOT use this store for ordering/scheduling renovations. I ordered storm doors and windows form them. They wasted 3 months of my time while keeping my deposits/payments (full payment in the case of the door) tied up and were unable to complete the job after all. Terrible communication! RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE IF YOU'RE BUYING HURRICANE DOORS OR WINDOWS!

This Home Depot (2901 North University Dr. Sunrise, FL.) has several employees that go above and beyond: Tara & Juan. Both hear and listen to our ideas and then they help by searching for the BEST product at the BEST price for our project. Both Tara & Juan read the labels and educate us on the verbiage to look for and what it represents and the cashier, Larna, is God sent.

Easy access to products purchased, store was clean and associate was very courteous and knowledgeable. One drawback was that there was not enough associates present on the floor to handle the traffic.

Is just very frustrating store unfortunately I have to go over there because is very convenient for me,the customer service is very poor,some of their employees are useless and lazy so you can spend a lot of time on this store because of that

JB and Elizabeth provided great customer service. JB the Manager went out of his way to offer a few suggestions that could help with my concerns. Rather, than asserting we don't have anything for that conflict. He was proactive to show me some alternatives and resourcefully offered his sound advice. Thank you JB for really listening to your customer. Elizabeth was bubbly and a kind spirit. She helped me to confirm my choice of purchasing a cinnamon broom. Thank you for making me feel right at home. This store is great because of employees like the aforementioned. Thank you again Home Depot for what you do and for quality customer care.

This store has the best employees. They are easy to find when you need, knowledgeable and friendly. Patricia, the cashier, is always pleasant, sweet and kind. We enjoy seeing her every time we shop there.

I went to make a return and the Customer Service Cashier, Sandra, was so nasty and rude, and that's not the first time I've encountered people who are less than helpful (there were 2 in the garden section the last time I went that when I asked for help finding an item both independently told me that they couldn't help, this wasn't their department, making no effort to contact someone who could help!). I was already having a rough day but when she failed to greet me I still gave her a friendly greeting and asked how she was doing. She ignored me. I told her I was returning a rug I purchased online with my new Home Depot card. It was a very large order. She scanned the rug and I swiped my card and nothing happened. I offered to get my order info from my email. I told her that it was a large order & asked if the order # would help. She said "yes" but still couldn't get it to go through. I asked her to call a supervisor as he/she might be able to help and she just straight up told me "no" and said that the supervisor couldn't help! I continued to look for that specific item and she just walked away without a word and went outside! She came back with 2 carts and even more of an attitude! I finally found it and she still had difficulty doing the return. When she finally got the numbers correct and pulled it up she told me that it was on my Master Card. I apologized and she just stood there looking at me, so I asked her if she needed my card. She said "yes" so I got it out and went to hand it to her but she said she didn't need it. I asked her if I needed to swipe it and she said "no" so I asked what she needed it for and she said "to make sure you have it" Clearly I was the person who made the purchase! I had already produced my Home Depot Card and the info on the email!! It felt a bit like harassment! When the transaction had been completed she just stood there so again I was unsure if there was something else that needed to happen but then I realized I was done, she just wasn't going to say anything else to me. I told her to "Have a nice day" and she said nothing!! During this stressful time when our Country is fighting Covid and is so politically divided I feel like it's more important than ever before to be kind... and if not kind to at least follow basic social graces, especially if you're in the "Customer Service" industry! I strongly suggest that Sandra receive some retraining in this area. If she's already had thorough training then maybe she just isn't right for the job. I write way more good reviews than negative ones but this one really needed to be done.

I was very impressed with the young man who cut my keys. Although he has a disability, he executed his job very well and he was very patient. Thank you.

The store was closing and I was having trouble making my purchase. However, Fabienne was so patient and knowledgeable. Although the store was closing, I was frustrated with using the system, Fabienne remained calm and determined to help me complete my transaction. She could have made me put my items back and return the next day but she did not. I truly appreciate her assistance.

T and manager Eduardo are amazing! They didn’t walk past me or act as if I was bothering them. They took the time and the initiative to help me from start to finish! T walked me to the item that I was looking for, instead of pointing! That’s a huge deal in my book! Manager Eduardo made sure I was taken care of at the register and arranged to have an associate escort me and my purchase to my vehicle. T and Eduardo are amazing! Go check out the SUNRISE STORE!

Great customer service.

The employee DIANNE was very rude and disrespectful. Her customer care qualifications are totally off. She sent me to go look for a prize with an very stank/rude attitude. There was this number above her name, I don’t know if this was a specific number for her but the number is 0258 00003 24228. I visited the place on 8/4/20 around 3:37 pm. This lady attitude was off. She needs to be removed because her customer treatment was not okay at all, she was so mean and rude to me and as a customer that didn’t sit right with me.

This store has amazing customer service Jeffrey and Carlos always help regardless of how many times I visit. They are attentive, helpful, and always make sure I leave happy. Having people like that in a work place will keep customers coming back because of a positive experience.
