As soon as I arrived and needed help, employees were there to immediately assist me. Two female employees, Jen and Madi were helping me shop for a Father's Day gift and they were extremely helpful. I got everything I had in mind at a good price and they did not take long to find it all. They also made the shopping experience more enjoyable, less stressful. On top of that they were so kind as well as the other employees at this location. It was surprisingly a great experience- would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs help finding exactly what they need.

This is by far the best home depot I have been in. It was clean and every employee i interacted with was friendly and helpful. Bob in electrical was a huge help, helping me find the right lighting. He was incredibly helpful, friendly and patient with me. Ann my cashier was also a delight. I will definitely be back.

After a few days of research and comparison shopping, I decided to purchase a GE frontload washer/dryer set at Home Depot in South Portland. The Sales Associate, Peter, was extremely attentive and helpful answering all of my questions. It was a very pleasant experience compared to the other stores I shopped. I was in and out in a reasonable time, with a successful purchase. I am a happy customer today. I highly recommend shopping here.

This is the best Home Depot I've ever been to. The people there are very friendly and helpful.

Great selection of shades.

Employees are great. Even walked me to my car with this giant pole I bought for my bird house. Also helped me pick it out and told me about the new Queen movie coming out this summer which is awesome! Such a great store. Thanks :)

I generally find what I need at the South Portland Home Depot.....usually well stocked and merchandised. Staff is generally available and helpful. Had a recent experience where I needed customer service to help me locate an online purchase and the staff rep was extremely helpful in the process. Much appreciated. I've invested a lot in the Ridgid line of power tools and been very pleased with them. Love that lifetime warranty!

I enjoy this store in particular because the employees absolutely always initiate offers of assistance. I can't ever recall one walking past me without greeting me or asking if I need assistance.They are always very professional, knowledgeable and give good problem-solving advice. I also appreciate the many female employees who are personable and know their stuff, making it a comfortable environment for me. Returns are done very efficiently and easily as are pick-ups for on-line purchases.

I shopped at South Portland store and Kerry Noble could not have been nicer, she helped us find what we needed. The store had some beaautiful plant displays near the registers which made me think of spring! I will be going back soon to get my garden started!

I have always shopped at HD and appreciate this store...easy location, always have well stocked inventory, friendly help.....I know the store well, where things are and can get in and out quickly. Thanks

I was very impressed with the folks working in this Home Depot. I believe 5 different associates greeted me and asked me if I needed any help finding something. Bravo!

Plenty of items in stick and staff courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this Home Depot!

After two hours of being told it is not my department it was frustrating. The help came up and smiled and said can I help yet when I asked they did not know and I just kept getting told they did not know anything. It literally seemed like they had no interest in gaining the knowledge of any products they were selling or how the items are used. Very frustrating :(

Good selection. Store is generally clean and organized. Staff are mostly helpful, when you approach them.

The staff is wonderful. Not one but three of the staff went out of their way to help me. They didn't just provide good customer service but went out of their way to help me. All three offered special help and advice on other options.

What a great shopping experience yesterday!! Had already visited the "other box store" first, and the customer service over there was so bad, we had to leave. Upon entering HOME DEPOT, we were greeted and asked if we needed help which we did. ( By more than one associate). We ended up purchasing a new FRIDG there, because of the professional and patient assistance we received. Thank you KEN, in appliances for all your help on Sunday!

I have visited 20 different locations and this store ranks at the top of the list. The service I get has always been great.

I enjoy Home Depot stores, but after 2 instances of poor customer service, I will not be visiting this store again. The most recent occurrence happened Monday October 30th after the wind storm that crippled Maine with power outages. I went to the store and was able to find a generator. I paid for it and told the clerk I'd return within an hour with a truck. At first, the clerk told me that I could not do that. When I questioned as to why, I was told that because of the generator situation, it was "Cash and Carry" only. Another clerk stepped in and told her it was okay for me to return. About 20 minutes after I left, I received a phone call from an associate stating that if I did not return with in 40 minutes, they were going to refund my money and resell the generator because of the "Generator Situation." As far as I was concerned, there was no situation except that they were sold out and the one I purchased was not available.

There are Never Enough large carts at this store if you want one for your shopping you better bring it in with you cuz there are never any empty ones in the aisles

Everyone is so friendly and ready to help! They don't make me feel stupid or amateur for asking questions or advice on new projects I am thinking of doing. I get excited to go in and pick their brains and they always exceed my expectations!

This Home Depot was amazing. After being at a few competitors I can say they exceeded my expectations in everyway. They assisted me, helped me find my way through the store to find what I was looking for. At one point they had only one item and I wanted two, so they called their other store and inquired for me. They had some helpful suggestions, they listened to my plan for the project I had in mind. Checking out was fast and easy. Having people to help is a huge plus. Thank you for making this experience so pleasant.
