My husband and I are in every Home Depot in the state quite often, and in this store I had the best help I have experienced in a long time. An employee offered his help without being pushy, and initially I declined as I thought I had found what I was looking for. When I realized I did indeed need his help, he hadn't gone far and he wasn't sitting on his phone or trying to look busy. He was polite, helped me find what I needed, stuck with me in another department to make sure to speak with another employee to make sure I had exactly what I was looking for, and once assured I was good to go even said thank you!! Xavier, great job, you really made your store stand out for me today.

I found it easy to get customer assistance in the shopping area.

The product was damaged, and Lori and Shane went above and beyond to rectify the situation and save a customer.

Great products at great prices. An extremely friendly staff that is willing to help. Clean store with a good atmosphere.

I was helped by Deana over the course of 2 separate days. Saturday March 9th and Monday March 11th. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. When she helped me out on Saturday she went out of her way to tell me when she would be working next for follow up help. She made for an excellent experience. I have shopped at many home depot locations and worked with many representatives. Deana stood out above the rest. Please give her the recognition she deserves! She deserves praise and a raise!

The employees here are always helpful and friendly, usually my preferred HD in the area even though others are closer.

Great customer service from the service desk and from the registers. Cashier was extremely nice, well maintained and clean at the registers. I was in and out, very fast, great store!

From the moment I stepped in Home Depot this evening I was greeted by Tracy at customer service. I asked her what 3 coupons I could use; she told me don’t worry just come see her when I was done and she would take care of me. I told her I needed a lot of help with finding light bulbs; she called up Gary to assist me. Gary spent almost 25 min finding the correct light fixtures, amount needed and cost efficient. Finally, when time to check out Tracy Sammy and Lori all helped with my coupons; which did save me a bit of $. Ken who came up to carry the Rock Salt to my car had a wonderful personality and was so friendly. Very happy with my service tonight.

What can you say about Home Depot everyone that works there is always so friendly and happy more than one person will come up to me while I’m in there and ask if I need help and I like that. Thank you so much.

The store is in a convenient location for us and I have found that everything is kept in good order which makes it easier to find the items I need for the variety of projects that I have at home. I particularly appreciate the quality lumber and well stocked plumbing area that I use often.

The cashier Susana at the Pro register was on her cellphone when I walked up to her, she rolled her eyes and did not acknowledge me at all. I am a frequent shopper here for my home and business and will not be returning because of how I was treated, and if I have to, I will go to another cashier.

The store is kept clean and organized the employees are knowledgeable friendly and very professional.

Looking for a washer with similar features to the one that we had to replace. Ron came over and asked if he could help we told him we were just looking to try to find a washer comparable to what we had as it was no longer being manufactured. He told us to take our time and look around and that when we were ready he would help us or answer any questions that we might have. We looked around and found a similar washer, but we had some questions we needed answered. He answered what he could and brought up the washer on his computer so we could get whatever questions we had left to answer. He was extremely polite not pressurizing us in anyway.. when we had finally decided to buy the washer he finalized the order making everything go smooth and easy. We were happy with the whole experience that we had at the store and especially with Ron our salesman or your team member. He is one that should be acknowledged in some way because he is a great salesman or team member with a great personality. If we go back we will definitely be looking for him for our next purchase. Very knowledgable also.

2 trips tonight. 1st: I bought the wrong items. 2nd: bought the correct items plus another item. MIKE at the customer service desk and COREY in the plumbing dept. were both very helpful, respectful, and I learned something from COREY. I had tried to do a DIY plumbing job. I bought the wrong plumbing items. Returning to the store, MIKE offered to have someone meet me in the Plumbing Dept. He contacted COREY to meet me there. COREY listened to my description of what I had done and how I think I might be able to rectify it. He quickly found the correct items (knows his department). Then I mentioned I should get something that would also have a male end to it and a cap on the end to stop a water pipe from flowing. He mulled it over for a few seconds, reached up to an item, said he had a plug, showed it to me, and it was exactly what I needed (in case I botched up again, I could use this). He taught me a couple of things tonight, which I am appreciative to have learned something new. On this second trip to Home Depot, I was disappointed with myself for not getting the correct items the first trip. COREY and MIKE, their listening skills and their interaction with me (I know I did not use the correct terminology) was respectful. I left this store with a positive feeling that I could successfully do the job when I got home--which I did. Prior to going to Home Depot, I had gone to a different home improvement/hardware store closer to my home. They did not have what I was looking for. This is not the first time I have made that mistake. Not only did I get the items I needed from Home Depot today, yesterday I bought a washing machine from Home Depot. HAPPY CUSTOMER HERE! Yes-sir-ee, I do like Home Depot and the employees!

we had a vision project and Tyler in lumber dept helped us with material, measurements, cutting and so knowledgeable of woodworking expertise. he walks by far most amazing help we’ve ever had there and we’ve always had great experiences there..but Tyler just raised the bar even more with his expertise and knowledge.

I have been in the Smithfield store several times the store employees go above and beyond to help customers

Going to the Smithfield Home Depot is always an enjoyable experience. We always make a point of going to Yvonne's Cash register because she just makes our day!

I enjoy seeing Elaine the cashier every time I make a purchase..she's alway's so kind which makes my shipping experience even better.

As usual when I buy something in the store, the employee are very help. Today, I needed someone to help me to put my purchase in my car, I found help right way, staff are professional and friendly.

I am at this Home Depot at least four times a week, I don’t appreciate Mr. Jimmy or gym which ever his emails making remarks about $100 bill that I was paying with stated it was fake and refused to catch you know he said I was asking for an exchange know I was paying with $100 bill There’s a big difference from pain and changing $100 bill I told him he should’ve had the machine or a pen to identify the hundred dollar bill if it was vacant now you just treated me and my husband like a little weird. I initially had asked him for help I was at self check out he stated that I had to wait for the young lady next to me which she was very busy there was no one at self check out then guess who ended up helping us he did after I initially had asked him for help. We are remodeling our home our kitchen and we’re in Home Depot at least three times a week like I said I can show receipts at how many times I went last week I don’t appreciate Jimmy’s remark and next time make sure you have the market to identify my hundred dollar bill

An employee walked around with me and helped me find exactly was I was looking for, even looking I’d multiple different locations

Five staff members of the Smithfield store went out of their way to assist me in locating a hard to find item.

After a slightly bumpy start to my visit to order decking materials, Tira at the Customer Service desk took the reins and helped me through the ordering and transaction process, making it almost effortless. Hooray for Tira! Give her a raise &/or bonus!
