I have made several trips to this location this week working on a fence in my backyard. On 2 separate visits, employees have been extremely helpful in helping me get product off the shelf and into my car. The first time was 1250 pounds cement (unfortunately didn't catch the employee's name). The second time, Sean and Raymond helped with 8 huge 6' x 8' bamboo fencing panels. Also, I drive just a midsize SUV, so getting everything to fit was a challenge in and of itself. I was very impressed!

I am in the process of remodeling my home. So much has gone into this process, and the HomeDepot Simi Valley Customer Service Department, Returns Departmen, as well as all the employees I've interacted with in the various departments have been shining examples of why HomeDepot remains my "Go To" establishment for home goods, appliances, and building materials. I am so impressed with their helpfulness, expertise, and service!!!! And the discount prices don't hurt either!

Shabbir in the Simi Valley store was EVER so helpful. The younger kids there seem to know the "walking path" as that is what most of them do...walk around. When I have asked for assistance, they just point and walk away. Shabbir came up to me and offered assistance even though he was helping another customer. Once he was done helping them he came to help me. He was VERY professional and knowledgeable.

Bought a new dryer tonight since ours broke yesterday and the process was so easy with Terry! He was very knowledgeable on all products, had a great sense of humor, and had a lot of patience with all our questions. We appreciate you! And we’re sorry your company doesn’t give you commission on sales, because you sure deserve it. You went above and beyond, and we appreciate you!

Always an employee that helps

I’m tired of getting harassed for opening a credit card by Shaker. No matter how many times I continually say no he pushes my wife and I even after declining his $50discount. Might just try a different Home Depot.

A notch above the best

Store is super friendly, the staff is always willing to assist customers. It's also clean and organized so it makes for a quick shopping trip if you're on the go.

I was helped by staff immediately entering the appliance department. I was completely satisfied with the service, courtesy, and quality of the product. My shopping was handled quickly and with attention to detail. Delivery was on time as promised.

I live in Thousand Oaks but shop at the Simi Valley Home Depot because of the customer service there. Wayne, Nikki, Angelina, Sarah, Andrea, Matt, Richard, Barb and many others are always helpful and professional. Great store!

I went to return certain items and Sarah decided to help me. The process took 3 plus times. Each time Sarah getting more and more livid, I literally took store credit because I didn't want to have Sarah get more aggressive because the return process would have started over again for the 4th or 5th time. She actively was showing her anger while her voice gaining aggression towards me. I'll be waiting for other service reps from now on to assist me. Don't want to be dealing with that type of aggression for a return again.

April at check out was incredibly friendly and helping us get everything scanned and paid for in a timely manner. James was very very helpful and friendly and helping us get the plywood tied to the roof of our car. These two deserve a raise!

James from building and Lumber was very helpful and gave great advice. Then there was James at the register's who was very welcoming and very quick and had a great sense of humor.

James, the cashier is extremely helpful & would highly recommend going to his register over self checkout!

The store was clean and great customer service! They had a product I had been looking for since last Christmas -- a light to illuminate my American flag!! Trust me, I had looked everywhere!! If you want super excellent service, ask for Leon! He is the best!

Holiday or not, customer service is lacking. Some departments are great, the customer service desk who you would think are the best at it are terrible. Just a waste, there have to be people that actually want to work or would take pride in it. Find them!

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! Inaccurate prices. Label says one thing, it rings up higher. After double checking, and taking pictures for customer service they tell me it may be going on sale or just was on sale but the price is higher now. I ask that they honor what they are showing and am told I could go ask someone in flooring what the price should be. How does that help? You are supposed to be "CUSTOMER SERVICE".
