Online said that they had some wiring in stock but I got there and there was none anywhere so I had to improvise with different wiring which is kind of critical but I made it work so yeah just know that

I ordered a garage door on 2/4/21 order #WM31128075. They lost the original shipment somehow and they had to reorder after I called them to check its status two weeks after it was supposed to arrive. My second one got shipped to the store and they sent it back cause they thought it was a mistake and they forced me to reorder it so I did (order #WA92864447). So I'll be waiting till July for an order that I placed at the beginning of February. Fair to say, I'm less than impressed.

Employee "Lonnie" was very welcoming and went beyond "normal" customer service. Made this a very quick and pleasant experience.

The people in the carpeting and blinds department were extremely helpful by being sure we got the correct kind of carpeting and pad for our basement floor.

When an employee welcomes you to their register as "WHAT THE H*** DO YOU WANT" twice to get your attention, I would say that is defiantly bad customer service. Once I did go to his commercial register we ended up in a terrible verbal conversation due to his attitude. I asked him his name multiple times, his answer ...."NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS NEVER MIND" . I then requested a manager and he refused to get one. This family will never step foot in this Home Depot again. Terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!

Inattentive people made this trip to store not pleasant at all. Never happened before. I use store #2104 almost exclusively as my big box home improvement store. When people are in a position to take my money, they should PAY ATTENTION TO ME AND NOT THEIR PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they are on break, they should not be in a place that they would appear to be on the job. These people were not on break. They were drawing a paycheck and forgetting that I SIGN that check. Ignorance maybe bliss, but not at Home Depot when the customers have a business of their own to run and employees waiting on product to be delivered.

This might be a smaller HD, but definitely the friendliest.

This is an excellent store. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. They always seem to have our items in stock when needed. The prices are good. What more can anyone ask?

We had a very good shopping experience on 2/23/21. We had just arrived at Home Depot from another store where we wasted over an hour for the employee to tell us they were out of stock on the product we were wanting to purchase, needless to say customer service was poor and we were quite frustrated. Upon arriving at Home Depot, we were looking for paint for a house we are purchasing. We saw Gabi and asked her for her assistance. She was great, She helped answer our questions and even introduced us to her Supervisor Theresa, who was also very knowledgeable. Gabi and Theresa helped us pick out Behr Marquee paint, which will best suit our painting needs for our family. As Gabi prepped the paint, Theresa guided me around the paint department to pick out the right tools and accessories for painting the interior of my new house. While we had other shopping to do we left the Paint Department and went on to finish our shopping. Theresa found us and asked if we would like her to take our cart to load paint and start the checkout process. We said yes, and away she went, we gathered the rest of what we needed and headed to the checkout, where the process was very smooth and quick. The employees at Home Depot the evening of 2/23/21 showed us excellent customer service and displayed great knowledge in each of their departments. There were other employees that had a hand in displaying great service, but I didn't catch or remember their names. But they deserve a to be told they are doing an excellent job and to be told to keep up the great work. Thank you all. I was very pleased when my family and I left Home Depot that evening. I don't normally fill out surveys, but felt that Home Depot and the Employees at the Des Moines Southside Home Depot should be recognized for their display of knowledge and customer service.

Asked for assistance from two store employees. Both were very kind and refreshing. They both answered our questions and assisted us with our needs. Jeri in the building, doors and windows dept was so cheerful and helpful it was a breath of fresh air from customer service I have had from other places. Keep up the good work S E Des Moines store. We found all the products we were looking for for our bathroom remodeling project at really good prices.

Megan, Caleb, and Victor were very helpful. They helped me get the vanity I wanted. Then loaded it into my vehicle.

Greg in plumbing was very helpful. Gave instillation techniques, troubleshooting, and return policies. Was knowledgeable! Will definitely search out his help again as I already appreciate and search out Jeanpierre in the checkout for fast and friendly service!! Way to go. Five star service!
