No one to ask for help. There was a kid that’s walked by with his head down in his phone. Went to self checkout since no register was open and all the cashiers were chitchatting behind self checkout. A group of 4 people 2 girls and 2 guys. Brianna and julie where the only 2 names I could read on the aprons the 2 guys I can’t see their aprons they where turned the other way. No one watching or helping with self checkout very disappointed in the customer services that I have received.

I have found that if you have a question about an item you may be looking for, you can save a lot of time by first finding one or their knowledgeable employees. They can generally head you in the correct direction to find exactly what you are looking for.

I had some issues finding a custom color of paint. Hunter took the time to help me find the exact paint I was looking for. His knowledge was appreciated

Today my experience at the South Reno store was perfect. We found knowledgable associates who knew where everything was in the store. And we got patient, knowledgable help from Tanner.

Best Home Depot in this area just visit it and you will see as action speak higher than words

This particular location is always clean and well stocked. The employees are very polite and helpful. I've been going here for years and they've been great! Obviously a well managed store.

I ordered 6 arborvitae bushes over the phone 4 days in advanced with the intention of renting a trailer and picking them up over the weekend. When I arrived at the store the staff had not pulled aside the product and the only remaining bushes were half dead. I would rather purchase items like these from a local shop at three times the price.

Associates make me feel like family and not just another customer.

I shopped at stores 3304 and 8560 to get what I needed and I’m fine with that, because Reno is a little enough town to where I can be anywhere I need to be in 15 minutes. your employees are awesome you should be proud of them all. Store associate was extremely helpful, walked with me all the way to the other side of the store. Found what I was searching for and personally loaded it into my car, as I didn’t know if it would fit. It was welcomed service in a world where we’ve forgotten what personal customer service is all about. It really made my day.

This is my favorite Home Depot in Reno. The store is clean, well staffed by really nice employees who are knowledgeable and willing to help. This is important when you're looking for a teeny tiny part in a big store. I love that they post delivery date on appliances! I bought a washer/dryer and it's being delivered in 5-days. Headed back today. I need more stuff...

I had to seek out the manager and ask if this was really a Home Depot Store! The first time I was in, an employee intercepted me and asked what I was looking for. Instead of telling me, "aisle X", he took me to the spot, pointed out the product I'd asked for, and then pointed out a similar one on sale. Then he stayed with me and asked what else I needed and took me there. I'm so used to never being able to find help, or help not knowing anything, or giving partial directions to where a product might be, or giving some help, and then fleeing, this experience blew me away. This HD is definitely a cut above!

Probably the best retail experience, ever! Customer Service went above and beyond by efficiently and quickly taking care of our needs. Their attention to detail is to be commended in addition to the store's accurate product quantity amount, and willingness to check on our item prior to driving to the store.

Always purchase my Christmas trees from this store. The quality is good but the help is superb. Jessica this year was fantastic. She amazed my wife. Thank you, Jessica, for starting the Christmas season off with a bang!

It's generally a well-stocked store, but the younger clerks and staffers need more hands-on experience. I prefer to speak with the older staffers who know exactly where to find what I'm looking for. The young ones are quick to look on the in-store web site, but often don't understand much about certain items, or where they're located (e.g., swamp cooler parts, plumbing, electrical, 9V batteries, details about the Home Depot card, etc.)

I found the products I was looking for and my cashier (Reece) provided excellent customer service including my Military Discount.

Clean and safe very helpful. Came 180 miles to get here in Reno!! Rented a floor sander and and bought sandpaper. Great experience! Brian was very helpful and friendly.

Shopping during a pandemic is a big challenge for me. However, when entering this store, I was greeted by a young man wearing a face cover. He had a bottle of disinfectant spray at his side and assured me the shopping carts were clean. He then offered a face cover for my use. The store was fairly well stocked in most departments, considering supply chains everywhere have been disrupted by this pandemic. I was pleased to find the lumber materials we needed for a home project, although the specific hardware we required was not to be found -- anywhere in town! The store was clean and the associates were available when we needed assistance. Still, during this troubling time, my happiest takeaway was the fact that I felt "safe" shopping at the Steamboat Parkway Home Depot in south Reno, NV!

April was very helpful. Look for her if you need power tools!

Lines too long, no eye toward improving by manger!

As a contractor, when I visit during the day, I need to get in and out of Home Depot as quickly as possible. This is impossible when they make me stand in line outside. It's especially annoying considering the fact that I can't shop here after work, because they've decided to close so early. If they choose to change this, I might change this review, but as for right now, Home Depot has made it pretty clear they don't care for their customers.
