      Assistance Availability
      Most of the time, customer service is really good: the 4-star rating is an average of the times I've visited. This time around, customer service was terrible. About 1.5 hours before closing I needed an employee to unlock a case (Electrical Outlets). The employees were in full closeout mode and were actively avoiding customer contact to finish closing tasks - understandable but frustrating that staffing was so thin. Once I found someone, they came over, radioed to someone else for help, and left to stock items. No one showed up. I finally left the aisle to find someone else, I saw the employee who "assisted" before and she glanced at me, didn't follow-up, and kept stocking items. I finally found a helpful employee who saw that the task through, instead of radioing an open request for assistance and leaving. This process took 20 minutes. At checkout, I asked an employee to locate the outlets and they brought out one of two packages. If I hadn't remembered the name of the employee who assisted me, it would have taken longer to find. I wasted about 30 minutes shopping at this location at this hour. There's other hardware stores close-by that I haven't had a bad experience with, so I'll try those.

          Bad experience this day
          I walked into an area that wasn’t completely closed off. Three employees were at the end of the aisle talking for about three minutes while I was shopping for a bathroom fan. An employee noticed me and started yelling at me for being in a closed off area. Even if the area was secured, which it was not, this is completely unacceptable. I informed the manager who I believe talked to the employee, but did not ask me any additional questions, and did not offer an apology. Very unprofessional.

                  Jasmin had horrible customer service.
                  I was there this morning and Jazmin gave my husband and I the worst customer service ever!! I work in customer service and she wasn't friendly or helpful. People need to leave their personal problems at home. Zero knowledge to any question.

                    Handling a customer with a legitimate complaint. Your "customer" manager Lisa and April should both be taught how to handle a customer complaint. There interaction with my customer who came in with a paint problem was completely unacceptable. The paint she bought was watered down and wasn't noticed until it was sprayed on the new walls in her home. Fortunately the painter caught it before to much damage was done. Your manager told her that she should have inspected the paint before she sprayed it. It was new paint in a bucket. The customer should be confident that they are buying a good product. Time lost on this job because of this was a full day plus having to let the waterdowned paint dry and re-sand the wall to make it smooth. The cost for this was well over $700.00 that I have to eat or charge my customer. Home depot gets off with " It's your fault you should have inspected the 5 gallon bucket of paint". Hats not Great customer service.

                        Purchased a weed eater/trimmer Gina & Alison (I think that is her name) were very friendly, helpful, kind, and considerate. Daniel, from the lot, helped me load my car. He also was very friendly, helpful & considerate. The customer service at this location (Redlands) has improved significantly since my last visit over one year ago.

                                Informative, helpful staff.
                                My refrigerator started making noise and I pulled it out from the wall and found the entire thing was gunk in black stuff. I had no idea how to go about cleaning it and Billy helped me get the right things I needed and Lauren was awesome. checking me out. Very friendly and personable. Everyone there was helpful.

                                  I shop at several home depots and you all have the same problem. Your "associates" with the exception of a small few, have no clue about construction and home repairs. I don't know why or how some get hired. Mostly what I see are young kids standing around talking to each other and when you do ask them a question they have to find the old guy for help. They need more training or a different job because I can find the old guy myself.

                                      Lack of: Customer Service
                                      Couldn't make out if the name was Jann or Jenn. But she was extremely rude when we asked a question. Besides ignoring us 3 times, she still found it necessary to roll her eyes and barely provided an answer to our question. We later saw her again at the register being rude to her co-worker and then I realized she's just overall not a representation of the company. I typically never ask for help and when I do, I am polite and know what I am asking for to make it as easy as possible to answer my question. With this being said, I tend to have little tolerance for employees who look at customers like the enemy. This employee may be coachable and should probably work on her ability to be more respectful and courteous to customers and her co-workers.

                                          Excellent customer service
                                          had bought a halloween spider online and picked it up. I tried to pickup my other halloween products that were on backorder, but the store had them in stock. I was already experiencing bad issues with online. At first the store said no. So, me and my wife loaded up the spider and noticed the box was opened and destroyed at the bottom so we went back inside to swap it out with another. The returns cashier called the supervisor Jessie who went above and beyond and took care of us. Thank you tons. He was even able to help us with are back orders. Its people like him is the reason I love shopping at home depot and taking care of the customers. Good job.

                                            My family is getting ready for an out of state move & I've buying moving supplies. The box selection & quality at Home Depot is great. All the supplies I've needed have been in stock & are easy to find. It's a simple thing, but it's helped make a stressful time a bit less stressful.

                                                The lead crew member who delivered our refrigerator and washing machine was great, but the second crew member was incompetent. He installed the washing machines water hoses backwards, and test ran the washing machine with the owners manual still inside, destroying the owners manual. When I called to have someone come fix the problem, I was told I would have to wait a week until someone could come. I had already waited a week for delivery after purchasing the appliance.

                                                  I use a trailer much of the time and usually can’t find suitable parking. Yet, there appears to be way too many people posing as Handicapped and park in front and “walk “ right on in! Just saying, too many spaces provided for abusers of a real issue.

                                                    I have been to many of the Home Depots as my profession is construction and painting so I have the opportunity to visit Home Depots all over!                                                           Monita found a tool I went to two HDs to find even though the item was no longer on display. Esther also was helpful checking to see if my Veteran discount applied to my items! This HD is totally awesome. I shop here and continue to shop here because of the staff!
