Worst Pro Loader experience. . very rude. Pro Loader embarrassed me and the cashier assisting me. Damaged the product I purchased which I will now have to pack it up and return to be addressed. This Pro Loader was definitely NOT MY HERO!

Horrible store, rude employees. On two occasions I have been made to feel like I was asking too much to get prompt service - the woman in paint is an absolute nightmare, it's difficult to get help. I live in Newark and am doing home renovations so I need things on a regular basis, this store is awful.

Freight blocking isles, product step ladders full of cement dust, front end so cluttered unable to navigate at 11am with a cart. Long line at register due to register not functioning correctly. I have been a Master Electrician for 35 years and will not shop in this store again.

The State of Ohio requires all employees of stores to wear masks. In my visit today, I saw eleven different employees inside of the store. Only one had a mask on. This does not count the two employees who I saw outside that did not have masks on either. They at least had scarves around their necks but not around their faces. The ten employees inside the store had no masks visible anywhere on their persons. Clearly, this store does not care about its customers.

the store is cluttered and most of the.employees do not wear masks or practice distancing. Their behavior is inconsistent with CDC guidelines and the COVID19 cases in this town are increasing. Don't risk your life

This store has some really poor associates, they have no care for customer safety. If its storming you will not be permitted to load under cover. In fact you'll be told Too Bad use the side door! I hope this Newark Ohio store goes under, It is very poorly managed!

store is clean and conveniently placed. how even went in to buy plywood and what is being sold as birch is the underlayment

Great place to find very well cared for plants and unusual plants. Very clean And well organized Folks in construction department were exceptionally well informed and helpful!

Items are always available and store is always clean and organized.

I’ve never had any issues with store employees. They are always eager to help and usually have the right answers for any questions I’ve had.

The nicest doggone people, and the most helpful, work here. I just built a cabin between Newark and Zanesville and Home Depot in Newark was my port in the storm when I needed something quick or some answers for materials. Could not be happier.

Phil from garden was hands down the best! He walked around the entire store helping me gather all the supplies I needed for a couple different projects. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and one of the nicest people I have ever been helped by. He was able to get me everything I needed and more. He deserves more than just hey Phil great job. He went above and beyond his job. I walked out of that store extremely pleased and will tell everyone I know to go there and ask for Phil!!

Staff always friendly and if they do not have in stock what I need they find out if another store has it or get it in for me within a day or two.

Is a good store. Only negative is that they need more workers

I purchased Behr paint from Charlie in the paint department after a discussion about how the paint had not performed well in the past.. He said I should have come back in and they (???) would always make it right. He did not say call Behr if you have a problem. After 2 coats by a professional painter it looked terrible so I took the paint back to Newark Home Depot. Charlie was there and proceeded to tell me that if it didn’t cover in 2 coats that my painter did not know what he was doing. I told him my guy has painted professionally for 40 years but Charlie insisted we did not know what we were doing. I told him I would just go talk to the manager and he said go ahead!!! AND TELL HIM CHARLIE SENT YOU Unfortunately the manager was about as helpful as Charlie He talked down to me about how maybe we didn’t use the right type of roller etc. That Behr would launch an investigation and would need to talk with the painter, get the Lot # and more I did call Behr and they didn’t need any of the things the Home Depot manager suggested and they were so nice!!! Do yourself a favor and forget Behr paint It is not the product it used to be If you want good service shop somewhere other than Newark Home Depot

The Newark, OH, 21st St Store is the best. I visit there many times a week when working on a project and always get outstanding customer service. No one ever says a product I need is "over there", they walk me to the item and wait with me until I find exactly what I want. The paint department shines and I think Charlie is the best employee there. He always greets me and I try to have him mix all the paint for me if I can. I always find great prices and don't ever recall looking for something I didn't find. This is an outstanding store.

We have already recommended this store!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We just made some major appliance purchases at this store and was very pleased with the price, service and the staff in general. We feel very comfortable. We'll be back again "soon" to take care of some additional projects.

I requested location of an item. The associate sent me to the wrong isle. Daniel ( a recent new hire) was somewhat nervous, but did a good job in checking out even though the items weren't properly marked (incorrect or multitude of UPC's to decipher).
