The associates in this Home Depot store go the extra mile to assist customers. This is a well managed store with staff who care about helping customers.

Have you met Patricia?... you should. I can get frustrated trying to fit in everything I need to get done and it can be trying on a great day to get through the store and get everything I need in the qualtiy and quantity I am looking for. By the time I get to the cashier I want to get done and be on my way. Patricia is fast, informed, and professional. She disarms with charm and backs it up with product knowledge and transaction speed to see me on my way with a receipt in my hand and a smile on my face. This is why I shop at the N Austin HD and why I come back.

Great store.... Clean and well organized.... Aisles aren't as clogged as some other Home Depots I've shopped at.... Floor associates are helpful and knowledgeable....

Listen to and try to accommodate your customers. If they have an issue with returning a product outside the return policy for example, consider accepting the return if it makes the customer satisfied. That customer will likely spend more money at that particular location. Just because you are a big box store, you should better train your employees to act as if they work in a smaller, more neighborhood friendly hardware store where store representative listen to their customers. The customers will reward you by spending more money at your location!!! In my case, I tried returning a circular saw outside the return window where I normally shop and where I purchased it (ie, the 4 points location). I was quickly told that I could not return it and the agent would not even consider store credit. I spend a lot of money at home depot each year (at the 4 points location to be specific) and was a bit upset by this. I took a chance and went to the Aborwalk location and Sunamita (customer service agent) actually listened to me and considered my request. While she couldn't allow me to return the item outright, she did allow me to get store credit for it. I received $172 in store credit for the item, and ended up spending almost $400 on a new circular saw as well as on other items I needed at the Arborwalk location.

I have shopped here for 20+ years before you moved to this location. I know employees by name and some know me also

I was purchasing something on sale and was informed that my military discount would not apply. I believe I have made many purchases that were sale items and had never been told that. I felt like a valued servicemen who had fought for his country and was being honored by Home Depot with this perk but no longer.

Cameras everywhere. It’s like visiting a jail. Added bonus the employees are friendly although they have no idea what they’re doing or where anything is.

From the returns desk to the paint desk, the aisles are so narrow. Only one shopping cart can go through. If you're looking at light bulbs, you better know how to rock climb you're way out of there. So many displays in front of the bulbs. You wouldn't even be able to shop if you're in a wheelchair.

Customer service was very helpful in exchanging a product. Several employees offered to help me find what I needed.

I live in Plano and had to rent a truck to move my son who lives in North Austin miles. I looked at different truck rental in North Austin area. I settled on Penske via the Braker/MOPAC location. They exceeded my expectations including a very low cost. This is the company and location to choose!!!!

Outstanding customer service and friendly staff. Every employee is always willing to assist me when I go back here. I really enjoy shopping here. Very convenient and they always have what I’m looking for.

When I encounter an issue there are 2 employees I can usually count on to resolve the matter, if they are not available I reach out to the manager on duty and the issue is usually resolved.

The employees were very kind and helpful. I have always had a good experience at this store. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of requesting to purchase an install for the toilet I bought there. No one knew how to do a transaction for an install except one man who was busy with another customer for a long time. Finally, a nice woman came up and said she thought she could probably do it, but she had a lot of trouble with the computer program for it, so she went away to get help. It took nearly an hour to purchase the install. That was minor compared to what happened next. Four days went by an no one contacted me to schedule the install. This is a toilet that we really needed. I had no info on who the installer was who was supposed to contact me, so my only recourse was to contact the store. No one picked up the phone at the store, at all, several attempts were made. Even the 1-800 help desk couldn't get an answer at the store. I finally got through, but got routed around and no one knew how to help me. Eventually I sent a text for help and they got a phone number for the installer. Thank you, finally, after hours of trying to track down something useful! I called the installer and they said it would be another two weeks before they could install the toilet, so 18 days in all folks. Not acceptable. I asked for a refund, called a plumber, and they were out to the house within three hours. Bottom line: Home Depot should not offer install contracts if their employees don't know how to complete the transaction or don't have any information about the installer or how long it might take. Does not bode well for Home Depot. I feel for the employee and customer service people who want to help, but who are in the dark or stretched too thin.

This is may favorite Home Depot the employees are always willing to help you find what you need.

The cashier Patricia is the sweetest lady I've ever met. She helped me with all my needs and was extremely nice! I will definitely come back to this store again.

I've been to Home Depot stores all over Texas (I travel a lot) and the North Austin store (183 & Braker) is consistently the best store that I've been to. On the weekends, I normally expect the expertise of the employees to drop off but that has never been the case with this store. Lastly, their employees (customer service counter, section employees and cashiers) are very friendly. I'm normally approached by 2 or 3 employees for assistance on every visit.
