Often we only see reviews with complaints. As a professional contractor, I would HIGHLY recommend This Hope Depot and Angie at the Commercial Desk. also I have had great experiences over the many years of working with many of the staff! We have purchased Carpet, appliances, flooring, paint, insulation, lumber, and concrete and have always been served well! Monticello is fortunate to have one of the better if not best staffed stores in the area!

Very friendly staff that helped as much as they could end even when they didnt have what I wanted they still took the time to let me know what other stores had the items and even went as far as to let me know when the next shipment came in to make sure I had a chance to get the jigsaw I wanted.

This is not only my favorite Home Depot location but my favorite store in general just because of how wonderful the staff is. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I love the fact that if someone doesn’t know the answer to something, instead of saying “I don’t know” they say “I’m not sure but let me find someone who does know.” To me, that means the world. It’s like everyone truly cares and I’m not just another customer to them! Keep on killing it Home Depot - Monticello! You all deserve a raise !

Thanks for treating me like a shoplifter today! I had some storage bins with the tops on them so I could pile my other items to purchase on top. I was in the self checkout and the cashier helper watched the whole time and helped with the scanner as the battery was running low/bad. After I paid and was leaving she said "let me check these" referring to the storage bins and just started moving my items around to pry the tops open. Just ask nicely or better, ask before I checkout if I had any items in the bins. If you trust self checkout, then trust me for being honest when you are watching!!

The store and employees are great and all but there was confusion with our order. We purchased a new oven and install. We were told the oven would be delivered Friday and someone would install it on Monday. Because of our location, we need a licensed plumber to install the oven. We found out on Monday that no one made an appointment for a plumber to come out. We have to wait until Wednesday for the install now. I don't know where the mistake really lies because the delivery guys even told us they knew of the install for Monday. I don't want to leave a bad review of the store because I don't believe the store or employee who helped us is to blame.

Customer service, staff and cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable. Cashier Marjorie was super sweet to deal with.

The store was clean and organized. Associate quickly took me where I could find an item. The cashier was very helpful to get my veteran's discount when she didn't get it entered the first time. She apologized and quickly fixed the problem.

I went to the store to find an item that I had located on the Home Depot web site. When I couldn't find the item on the shelf with the same price that was shown on the Home Depot web site, I asked a passing store associate. He immediately stopped to help me, located the item in the top shelf stock, and verified that the price was the same as the web site indicated. Excellent customer service!

I shop at this Home Depot location often and have found the employees very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable.

Cashiers are the best I have seen

Store was very clean, when I needed help, they really helpful in answering all of my questions. The cashier was very friendly in checking me out.

Steve at the pro desk showed no interest in helping me with what I need. He shrugged, told me he couldn't do it, and that I'd be better off going online. Completely unprofessional, very rude.

I been to this home Depot without a mask twice. Those times have been very pleasant experiences. I will continue to shop here.

Keith at the pro desk/building materials is the guy you need to talk too. 10/10 Stars. Knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. He assisted me in the roof I was re-doing and his customer service was above what you expect for a home improvement store.

Love shopping at this Home Depot. They are a great company and you can tell their employees actually like working there. So helpful and friendly.

Some of their prices on the shelf are wrong! When you inform them of it you get treated like you are trying to con HD out of their money!

I was a Buffalo Menards patron out of the convenient location. But, when Menards required masks and no kids, I refused to shop there. I drove the extra miles to Monticello Home Depot. I quickly found a higher quality of tools and building materials, compared to Menards. The associates seemed nicer too. I will now drive the extra miles and pay a minimal higher price for the service and quality. Thank you Monticello Home Depot!

Great service

Haley in Appliances was super knowledgeable and helpful in helping my husband and I select a new Clothes Washer. She didn't know basic information, but knew features on it, the fact its easier to repair and universal parts as well as some drawbacks on some of the other washers we were considering. A big concern was water sitting in the tub and she knew the drying feature on the model we had done a little research on and looked at reviews on. She also knew the other model we were considering had water drainage problems on the extra delicates washer part.

Store staff was very accommodating and informative as we went through the somewhat stressful process of choosing new appliances for the first time in 20 years with hopes that these serve us as well. I highly recommend a visit to Home Depot when you need new appliances.
