Great merchandise and the garden is good prices a lil high but it’s ok you got everything I need

Astounding! when I requested to speak to the manager, I could not believe the courteous treatment and staff response. My issue got resolved; I found my way around the store, no problem. Honestly, feeling welcomed like a king made my day. Thanks to Veronica and the store assistant manager.

I needed 2 pieces of wood cut, no associates around in lumber, went to another dept requested to have an associate paged to lumber, no one ever showed. In total an associate was paged 3 times & 1 manager was paged & all requests went ignored. I spent 45 min chasing down someone to help me. I didn’t walk out because I needed the wood & the next closes Home Depot was in Pasadena. The store isn’t very clean, employees hang out on their phones in the garden area & they too ignore the customer, claiming it’s not my dept, I will page someone to help & no one ever shows up. Very unprofessional. Very bad experience, will not return & unless you plan on spending over an hour at Home Depot for a couple of items, I don’t recommend this store located on Mountain Ave, Monrovia. Definitely will not return to the store.

Diana is an amazing cashier, super friendly and great customer service all the time. Everything I look for its always in stock too.

I did not get the 'Older' Gentleman's name that helped us while in the store. But he was very helpful in getting us the right items we came looking looking for. And the Cashier at exit, in the PRO section, his name Simon was helpful in suggesting for a $75 discount by opening a new Credit Card account. I declined, only because I do not want my FICO score to go down. But I told him the Purchase I'd made qualified for 6-months no finance charges

Overall I like to shop in Monrovia store but now i am happy to have Home Depot in my Town Pasadena.

Do not come to this Home Depot!!! Very rude customer service from manager to associates. I find associate Erika and assistant manager Eurydice to be very rude and condescending.

This was an awesome experience with Pax and Justyn. They both were extremely helpful with getting the golf cart Mr Heater to work. It was wonderful to use the heater during my round of golf yesterday at Simi Hills golf course. They were jovial and very friendly to a 78 year young lady. Thanks again Pax and Justyn. the associates and the Monrovia Store are willing to assist not just send you to aisle. the ask to follow them and fully assist me.

I was in the store on 12/19/2020. I selected my items and went to the self check out. I got in line at the self check out and waited my turn. Amy at the self check out was letting people just go in front of us and when I asked her is there not a line she stated to me “oh you having a bad day” and I said excuse me and she said “you will have to get over it life‘s not that bad”. Then when I asked for the store manager she thought it was funny and just stood there and laughed so I got another employee to get me the manager and she still wouldn’t quit talking even the girl that was with her the other employee was appalled and told her to stop. No i would not recommend this store. Do i think the manager did anything? No because if he did the employees would not act like that.

Customer service at cashier section was great.

I wrote a review on how I couldn’t get service and the stores inventory levels say they have product and an associate could find it nor did he ask for help, then I mentioned I went to there competition and since I named them they rejected my post. Real appropriate Home Depot. You should be striving to be like your competition when it comes to customer service

I was not offered any help even though it was obvious I needed help. I felt like I was a burden. Everyone else was offered help.

The store was employee friendly everything was organized, clean very social distancing keep up the fantastic job

I usually find what I'm looking for, although, if I don't see what I'm looking for, it's sometimes it's hard to find an employee to help direct me. Sometimes, I've found the employees are busy chatting with each other and aren't paying much attention to customers. I think that certainly could improve. Otherwise, it's a good store to shop in.

This store seems to not want cash. You wait forever for a $5 purchase!!!

Destiny in the Garden area is why I rate the overall experience fair. Destiny made me not ever want to deal with her again. Destiny was rude to me in front of my son. I told my son that I never want him to act the way Destiny acted. Always treat customers with respect and when you are in a service role provide good customer service. Do your best to always be helpful and courteous. I am writing this review mainly because I got this sense of cockiness from Destiny like she didn't care. I really wasn't pleased with that nor was I pleased with the idea that she thought it would be ok to have me track all the way back to aisle 25 to get another crawl space cover so that she could scan the item. Destiny told me it didn't matter whether I went back in the store or whether she went back into the store to get the item, it's the same thing whatever. She could have easily used her walkie talkie to ask someone from within the store to check the bar code or bring another one. Destiny was just not helpful at all. My hands were full of items, Destiny never took any of the items from me. She scanned the items while they were in my hands until I told her I needed to place them down. Btw the bar code was actually on the crawl space cover, Elaina in garden was helpful in showing Destiny where to find the bar code. Unfortunately, My experience with Destiny was a bad reflection on your store and the excellent service I'm generally used to. Destiny could really use someone mentoring her, and showing her how to genuinely care about her job. Her concern does not seem to be for the people in which she is to provide good quality service for. Due to Destiny's lack of basic customer service skills, Home depot unfortunately will be destined for more bad reviews just like this one if her attitude does not improve. -Unsatisfied Customer

Generally the Monrovia store offers a wider selection than the Alhambra store in the departments where I’ve shopped (garden, hardware, and plumbing supplies). The shopping experience doesn’t measure up to the old way, where a hardware store sold hardware only and their sales people knew their product lines. You could describe to them what you wanted the item to do, and they could direct you, even if you didn’t know the industry-standard description of the part. But as times change, apparently so must we.

Being that this store is in my neighbor I have often shopped at other locations just to see but I always come this store is the cleanest, friendlest kindest people of all stores I have shopped all employees knowing there position are very helpful in all areas

We went to Monrovia store to shop for washer-dryer. Home Depot carries a lot of brands and we found top-rated brand by Consumer Reports. Both were on sale so we purchased both with delivery of new and haul away of old. Wait was long but that's understandable because of pandemic and social distancing. Our salesperson Pablo was very knowledgeable and it took us less than half an hour to go through the purchase and delivery. Great store with lots of inventory with helpful salespersons.

We had been to three Home Depot stores in the greater LA area in one night looking for a standard closet door and no one seemed to want to help us or want to take our special order since it didn’t seem to be in stock. Two store employees literally told us to come back tomorrow and someone else could maybe help us. But then we decided to try once more and visited Home Depot Monrovia just before closing. Thank God we did! We ran into Ana, a manager there, and she not only helped us but went above and beyond and located the exact item we wanted, got us a cart, and helped us load the large item onto it. I kept telling her she made our night and really we were so grateful that the trip out was a success in the end. If it hadn’t been for Ana’s amazing customer service and help though, I don’t think we would’ve been so lucky. Thank you so much! We will definitely only be coming to Home Depot in Monrovia next time. Exceptional customer service and it didn’t matter that we came in 30 minutes before closing. We were treated so kindly and wonderfully. Can’t recommend this place enough. Once again, thank you Ana! You were a lifesaver this evening.
