I had a great experience shopping at the Merritt Island Home Depot. I had to return something and was very pleased with the service and welcoming I received.

Greetings: Home Depot Store # 0234, I certainly would love to recommend your store to the whole entire Country. Mainly because your Store # 0234 is simply the bomb. I always find what I'm looking for. And it's makes me proud to come back as a Customer 4 Life.

Although I would recommend this store, I only gave it 3 stars because there are some issues regarding their store associates walking around doing nothing and not being approachable so that customers can be helped. Long gone are the days when they would be right by your side as soon as you entered the store waiting to ask you if you needed help. Now it feels like you're bothering them if you say, "excuse me can you help me please?" I'll tell you this, if as a female, I go in dressed up... there's always someone waiting to help but 'woe is me' if I am running in real quick and dressed like I'm working on my house (which is usually the case) with a head scarf on...I get no attention, let alone assistance. That's just not fair. By the way, the 3 stars are for cashiers like Breanna who could care less about my appearance and more about my satisfaction as a customer.

We have purchased appliances from this store in the past and when we had a problem with our washer a few years ago, they responded quickly and ended up giving us a full refund. This time we were shopping for a frig. Ashley helped us and she was amazing. We were going to go to two other places to purchase our range and microwave since my research showed that they had lower prices, but Ashley went online and found what we wanted at the same price as the competitors had. She saved us the hassle of running around town. To top it off, she found additional coupons to reduce the cost for us. She gave us her card with her own info on it so that if we had a problem we could call her directly. We are so pleased!

This store has the most friendliest staff I have ever seen in any store. Going here I feel great because I know that I will get help for anything I might be looking for.

I am a 76 year old female senior and I usually shop at ACE because I have difficulty navigating the large home improvement stores. The Merritt Island HD store changed my perspective as I found so many willing and courteous and helpful employees that I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you to Marlene and Emily, in customer service, Dean and his afternoon associate, in electrical, I will happily return to this Merritt Island location.

The store layout is well organized, adequate supplies on shelves, helpful associates who drop what they're doing to answer questions and/or guide us to the right aisle and bay for the items we're looking for.

Home Depot offers Hassle free returns for using the Home Depot Card. After nearly thirty phone calls in sixty days, my return has still not been processed and Home Depot blames it on a glitch. No corporate relations access. Customer care says its not possible. Corporate has no way to be emailed or by phone, as if customers are not important to be heard. Complaints are taken seriously only by reading a placard, but not really in effect. Staff does no longer takes virus precautions serious despite the number of daily related deaths.

No transparency. The staff is not helpful in solving complaints or issues. They are not customer focused as intended. The online department is much worse.

Very kind employees and always willing to help. Truly enjoy this store. I wish they wouldn’t have changed the military discount a few years ago but that’s the organization problem. This store is great!

Customer service at this store is incredible. I had an issue regarding my new credit account. Marlene took suck good care of me! Felicia also assisted, both ladies made me feel like I was the only customer in the store. I left the store with my problem solved and feeling great about the experience. Employees are very friendly and helpful. This location is always busy. We need a bigger location here in Merritt Island. I sometimes shop the Melbourne store because it is so much larger and has better selection and more merchandise..

I have shopped twice in the Merritt Island Home Depot store in the last few days and have received exceptional service from two employees. I am fortunate that I am only five minutes away.

No enforcement of mask wearing or social distancing.

I had a very pleasant experience shopping today in the garden section of the store. Found a nice selection of smaller colorful blooming plants which was exactly what I was looking for. As I had just walked right in and started looking without getting a cart, I placed my selections in one of those long plastic small plant holders. I walked up to check out carrying my plants in the holder. Due to Covid 19 circumstances, there was no counter to place the plants on. He immediately went and got me a cart for them. We then completed the check out process together and I thanked him for his help.
