My experience at this store was completely awful! This was my first time ever encountering an issue at any of The Home Depot stores! I primarily came into this store to make two copies of my key. After I got my key copied, I then headed over to the customer service department and began to wait in the line. I noticed that there was only one cashier named, Sergio, who was the only one available and was conducting a transaction with a customer. While I was waiting, a pair of two customers came into the line and stood right behind me. I also noticed, as I was waiting, Sergio was taking longer than the usual transaction time with the current customer. Therefore, another cashier named, Citlalli, came by and immediately got the attention of the customers behind me and began to take care of them! Then, I approached Citlalli’s register and began to explain that I was waiting in the line before these two customers and she quickly responded that the customer service department is only for returns & pick-ups and that I have to go to the front-end department in order to checkout! I then replied to her that Sergio had seen me standing in the line all this time, as he could’ve told me that! Then, Sergio had finally finished with the current customer and I asked him if he can take care of me in which he responded that I can step over to his register. After I had completed my transaction with Sergio, I requested him to page the manager on duty. Then, a manager named, Marlon, carelessly came by and immediately began to talk with Sergio & Citlalli, which Sergio had to point me out to him in order to get my attention. He finally approached me and I began to explain what happened. While I was talking to Marlon, he quickly stopped me in the middle of my dialogue to tell me that I was raising my voice, which I wasn’t raising my voice at all! After I was done explaining the situation to him, he just quickly said, “Don’t worry, I’m gonna handle the situation and talk with her later! Are you ready for checkout? What do you wanna do here?” I then asked him who the store manager is and Marlon quickly replied that he’s the store manager! From that point, I informed him that I’ll be getting in touch with his district manager & corporate headquarters and he began to ignore me, as Marlon walked away! However, when I got home to try out the keys, it turned out that they were copied insufficiently as neither of them were able to unlock my door! I became even more irate & frustrated by the entire aspect of this situation! Marlon & Citlalli’s negligent behavior was completely malicious & intolerable! If Marlon truly is the store manager of this location, then he really needs to rectify his behavior before he can conduct any types of customer service. He should definitely not be interacting with customers that way, as he came off completely unethical & condescending! I would absolutely like to discuss this issue with either his district manager or a corporate personnel. I ended up wasting a lot of time at the store during that visit. I even had my vehicle turned on while I was shopping because I thought it was going to go smoothly! Also, I waited a long time in the line and then took my time to speak with Marlon! I would definitely like to get this issue resolved!

One doesn't expect to get a lot of help in a big place such as this, but both the guy who ground my spare keys and the young lady at the checkout were friendly and helpful. And you can stop any employee who'll take you to where you need to go if you ever can't find something.

Prices for the garden center are not competitive, there was a poor selection, and the specimens questionable. It was messy, unorganized, and with poor signage to direct your to flowers, vegetables, annuals, check-out, etc.. There was a single cashier sitting in some sort of boxed-in station, forcing you to lift all your items into the window to be priced before you returned them to your cart. There were self-checkout lanes which were placed in such a way customers were bumping into each other. The only other associate in sight was mulling around idly pointing to the self-check-out and walking away. I only purchased a few things. I'll go to the specialty store on the north-side of Andersonville where they understand your garden, no matter how small, is a refuge after a long winter and tending to it should be a fun and exciting experience, even at the shops.

Never seen such basically insane utter lack of interest in the customer's experience in my entire life. Not on the part of one associate, but two associates and a manager. I ordered 2 heavy shelving units. At the store I received seriously damaged boxes w/items sticking out. Associate just threw me a roll of packing tape when I showed her the busted-open box, and disappeared forever. A manager eventually came and agreed that items might have fallen out and offered to refund my money and reorder the shelves with free delivery to home. She then left the store for the day. A second associate failed to do the reorder with free shipping, said it was impossible. Another manager was busy with a customer and I had already waited quite a long time. I just returned the items. I still don't see my PayPal refund. If it had just been one employee, or a horrible packaging job resulting in damage, that would be one thing. But there was no element of this experience that showed any interest on the part of Home Depot in customer satisfaction. No training on how to handle situations. I will order elsewhere from now on. Please not that I was polite, although I felt shocked and rather victimized.
