The associate Lou; I believe was his name, was excellent and one of the best helpful person I've encountered in a very long time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and very helpful in making sure we found the correct answers to our questions and the right outlet for our dryer cord. The other associate we encountered although not knowledgeable in the flooring area was able to admit so and joined us with a associate with longer experience in that area but stayed with us to ensure we were satisfied with our decision.

I would like to recognize the absolute best service and client focused service by store manager Margie Keys and her unbelievable team. I shared being overwhelmed by the task to restoring my mother's collapsed ceiling with associate Velma Kenndy which she went above and beyond to call another associate Darrell Celestine in the area to give me a hand. He arrived at my mother's home in minutes as he was in route to work. That is amazing of the character and culture of Home Depot!

The highlighted section(s): mentions a competitor Went to buy a generator because a hurricane devastated our town,Any other time would receive military discount but today was told we are not giving military discounts. I have shopped other stores during this time and had no problem. The only reason I didn’t walk out and leave the generator at checkout was because the other stores did not have the size generator I wanted. Needless to say I will no longer be shopping Home Depot. If you can choose To not honor your military veterans during a time of disaster then I don’t need to patron you establishment

We are in a disaster time and all the employees were very friendly and helpful,Even though there is no electricity and limited air conditioning. The employees loading product into vehicles were doing all the loading for us. They wouldn’t let my husband help them to load a heavy generator into our truck. More like service we used to get a long time ago!!

Store was stocked and we'll prepared for the needs of residents for the aftermath of the hurricane

This store has really done a turnaround in the past year or so. I used to avoid all Home Depot locations because of the lack of customer service. I cannot speak for other locations, but the Lake Charles store definitely has way better customer service than their major competitor down the road. It used to be the opposite. I also feel the Home Depot, overall, has better quality products than the competitor just a few minutes away. Good job Home Depot. I will remain a loyal customer as long as business practices and customer service stay good.

Chase helped us with our purchase today and he answered all our questions and was very polite. He brought confidence and knowledge to our purchase. I would definitely go back to this home depot.

Adrian in lawn an garden is very knowledgeable, polite and highly motivated to meet the customers satisfaction. He went above and beyond in the extreme heat outside to make sure the mower we purchased was defect free and he basically quality controlled the mower before assigning it for delivery. Also ms Raven at service counter was very friendly, courteous and prompt!

I bought a freezer today, the women that waited on me were helpful and friendly. All the worker's I had encountered while there were friendly, would smile and say hi. Will shop here again.

When I found what I was looking for it was locked up. About 30 minutes go by before I even SEE an employee to unlock it. But here’s the main issue. I’m more than sick of being harassed about the military discount at this store. Idk if it’s just this store or Home Depot’s policy. I’m told every single time that the “veteran” stamp on my driver’s license (state issued btw) isn’t good enough. I don’t see any sense in why it isn’t. For this reason alone is why I use this store as a last resort only.

I had a super experience with "Paul." He was friendly, knowledgable, and super helpful. America would be a different place if every employee was like Paul.

I ordered items online and it showed this location had 6 of the particular item in stock. I paid for them online. When I arrived for my items I was left there over 2 hours for the workers to finally tell me there weren't any in stock. Very displeased after driving 40 minutes just to get there.

store shelf not stocked for microwaves, easy RETURN,

I picked up an online order from curbside. This was my first time shopping online and will shop this way in the future. The online website make shopping easy. It was easier for me to read specifications and line through inventory. Would recommend online shopping to anyone who needs to. The curbside experience was absolutely exceptional. I was greated by the clerk and my items came out shortly. The clerk was very polite and professional. I will definitely shop this was again.

I save money shopping at Home Depot and always find what I came for. Someone always help find what I was looking for if I cant find it.The employees are always friendly and helpfull. This is why I go back each time.

Saying that returns at Home Depot are easy as pie is true, but a bit unfair--mostly what you see and get there is perfectly wonderful and will serve you well. But on the rare occasion that it won't fit or is the wrong color, you can return it without drama if you have a receipt. Maybe a bit of drama if you don't have a receipt or if you return something you bought somewhere else (like the guy in front of me today !) But mostly, Home Depot=good guys for returns.

It is with good intent i make these recommendation for the lake Charles home Depot Store the staff could be more friendlier and or more helpful , store organization is sometimes not good mostly in materials.no not at all no one came to help, could be cleaner in materials. Can't say ether way did not speak to an associates. ,

Our experience today was by far our greatest to date. Our customer assistant Gordon Brown from the moment we walked in the door made us smile and want to buy buy buy! He was very friendly and willing to go above and beyond with every question we had and item we needed. He was very knowledgeable about most of the questions and items we needed. If he didn’t know something he was quick to look it up and answer our questions. He even stayed past his shift to help us finish getting everything we needed help with. We are very grateful for his assistance and friendliness today!

I really enjoy the amount of products homedepot has . shelves are always well stocked and lots of different names products to choose from. other stores =seem- iffin you see a product you think you might want to buy=you best but it then -because it won't be there tomorrow. homedepot stays well stocked.. Went in looking for one item in particular, had it pulled up on my phone and couldnt find where it was in the store. A nice gentleman could tell I was a tad frustrated trying to find the isle I needed and asked if he could help. He directed me to exactly where I needed to be. A trip that could have taken 20 minutes ,easily, took only 5. Thank you for helping me out !
