The Homewood Home Depot has consistently efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful employees who stay with you until you find everything you need. Their dedication makes it easy to navigate and purchase items in a minimum amount of time. Exchanges and returns are simple, too. Thank you for making shopping so simple in such a large store!

I love Homewood home depot team. They are very humble, professional and helpful. They are very knowledgeable Xavier, Sandi Lee and others go above and beyond there job duties. They have good coordination and that help customers to get in and out fast They are simply awesome.

I WENT TO THIS HOME DEPOT ON MAY 30TH AND BOUGHT THINGS THAT I NEEDED FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT AND THEN I RENTED A DRILL FOR CONCRETE DRILLING THE AGENT LARRY WAS A NICE GUY UNTIL I CAME BACK 1 HOUR LATER AND TOLD HIM THE DRILL BROKE , HE CHECKED THE DRILL OUT AND SAID I BROKE THE DRILL AND ME AND HIM ARGUED, THEN HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND SO I CALLED THE STORE MANAGER AND HE WAS NOT IN THE STORE SO WE CALLED THE ASSISTANT MANAGER NAMED CINDY AND SHE WAS RUDE AND IRATE JUST LIKE LARRY THE RENTAL AGENT WAS , SHE TOLD HIM TO REFUND ME MY MONEY AND HE TOLD HER NO HE WASN'T, CINDY THE ASSISTANT MANAGER WAS BELIGERANT AND RUDE TO ME AS WELL AS LARRY, PLEASE FIRE THESE TWO EMPLOYEES AND IF NOT I WILL AND MY CONSTRUCTION TEAM WILL NOT BUY OR SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN, THE STORE WAS MESSY , UNTIDY AND UNORGANIZED, PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE AND THE AGENTS WAS RUDE .......PLEASE SEND A TEAM OUT TO THIS STORE FROM HOME DEPOT HEADQUARTERS AND TEACH EVERYBODY IN THIS STORE PEOPLE SKILLS

Very clean store associates where knowledgeable of the product i needed

Have associates ready to assist customers. Had a price check issue and despite two associates calling another associate in the lighting area to verify the correct price of the item, no one responded. Went to the customer service desk to speak with a manager, and the clerk was at the desk eating popcorn. Told her no one was answering in the lighting department for a price check, and she proceeded to tell me everyone was on lunch and I asked to speak with a manager. The clerk was reluctant to tell the manager's name and just in time, she pointed out the manager. When I asked was she the manager, she told me she was the manager on duty. When I attempted to share with her the price discrepancy issue with the items, she informed me she was helping someone else. Really? This Home Depot is HORRIBLE when it comes to customer service and associates willing to help. If the associates are unwilling to help, not answer the phones for prices checks, or even turn in the other direction when seeing customers coming towards them, please have upper management encourage them to stay home or find employment else where.

This store is well stocked, clean and well staffed. When I started my first remodeling job ( as a female), I had no idea what I was doing or what was needed. This team took me under their wings and provided me with so much guidance on this new journey! The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable, not to mention patient. They have taught me so much and I consider them my Home Depot family! Special thanks to Kevin, Calvin, Kareem, and Alex for all of your help! You guys are amazing and are a prime example of what teamwork is! If you want excellent service, this is definitely the store to visit.

• The Home Depot chain still has a commitment to having knowledgable salespeople, who are *genuinely* friendly and helpful. • Home Depot has power tools on display that you can pick up *and* test out, and ask questions about. (A marked contrast to Menard's policy of displaying the high up so they can't be touched, which doesn't help me one bit- I have to be able to *feel* the drill in my hand.) • Home Depot still has a commitment to *actual hardware* that one gets at... a hardware store. (If I wanted baby wipes, petfood, stationery items, etc. I can go *almost anyplace.*

Ian is so helpful and works hard to make sure customer receive great service. Pete in your Doors department is so helpful and knowledgeable. Javier in the pro desk is very hardworking employee even when a situation is bad he helped me cool down from not understanding why Sandy gave me the kind of service I received today. We had so much to load and I paint roll off the truck and spilled all over my shoe and he ran inside and brought me paper to clean my shoe and a new can of paint. For the most part you truly have great individuals that strive to get us great service..

Awful, messy store. I saw at least 5 employees standing around visiting with each other, on a busy Saturday, instead of attending to customers. I imagine this is because they have ZERO knowledge of HD products and services as demonstrated during my visit. I sought out 2 at different times and neither one knew anything about where my items might be!!! (Handrail hardware and stair treads). At LEAST train them to smile and say, "let me check" THEN FIND US SOMEONE WHO KNOWS!!

The store in Homewood doesn't even deserve 1 star. It's dirty and poorly stocked. Some items, like the stair moulding I was looking for, were so jammed up and crooked, I couldn't retrieve enough of the sizes I needed. Employees were NOT knowledgeable NOR helpful. They stood around socializing. One of them said, "You look like you need some help," and promptly walked away after I told him what I was looking for.

I shop at this Home Depot location because it is close to home, has a great service team (Diamond, Calvin, Ricky, Eunice, and more) throughout the store. I am able to get assistance with my DIY projects. Has the products that I need or I can order on-line for in store pick-up.

My fiancé and I decided we wanted to do a really cool accent wall with the White Wash Weathered Boards, but we have never done a project like this before. We ran into Pete who offered all of his knowledge and expertise on the project. Pete even walked the entire store with us and helped us pick out EVERYTHING we needed to make this job easy for us. He was Awesome, and our new wall looks AMAZING! Thanks Pete!

This is my favorite Home Depot. Everyone in this store is so helpful and friendly. I feel so welcomed everytime I enter this store. I have been to quite a few Home Depots in Illinois and various other states, and I must say that the Homewood store is my favorite.

I have lived in Homewood where the store is located since 1994, and have been shopping there since they have been at that location. Although I ran into a very rude employee approximately ten years ago. It seems that he is no longer there. Otherwise, I have had very positive experiences with the store personnel and products.

The employees are very helpful. They have everything really organized and clean.
