I would recommend the store but only in the certain areas. I had been a customer since 1996 when I moved to Hayward. I usually buy something I need for the house, often ask a simple question where to find something or if it will work for my needs. Last Saturday Feb. 22 I went to the store to check carpets. I need to replace wall to wall carpet ruined by my cats. I had some questions about variety of available carpets and pads. After my recent experience with window installation by Home Depot I was not sure if I wanted to deal with Home Depot carpet installers but decided at least to get some information. I was totally ignored by person seating behind the desk in the flooring department! After I was finally able to get her attention, she did not help at all. The only thing she could do was to set up an appointment for the measurement. In the other departments you have knowledgeable associates able to answer questions and willing to help. So what this person in the flooring department was doing there?

I like this Hayward Home Depot.No problem with parking

Employees take the time to give recommendations for your DIY projects. Loved feeling like I was the only person in the store.

Yasinia or Yasinda from customer we ice was very helpful and friendly and helped us over several days and phone calls to help us locate a shed we were looking for after our local sunnyvale store canceled our online order. She went and checked the item was actually on the shelf and verified on more than one occasion even after we were told by other employees that it was not in stock. Because of her we drove from sunnyvale and made this $1100 purchase. Also Oscar from home and garden was very helpful and expertly operated the forklift to load our item and be sure no damage was done to our vehicle. He directed a younger employee and they sucessfully loaded the shed into our pick up with not an inch to spare.

Very lacking in customer service and what their mobile app shows is in stock does not match what is actually in the store. Very disappointing trip and in general my experience is that this big box store is geared to contractors but not the average consumer.

The stores needs to be cleaned up , and get rid of the employes hiding and playing on their phones.

This is one of two stores close to my home I go here when I rent tools that are needed to complete a project that I am currently working on that are to expensive to own myself. It would be nice if all stores had a tool rental.

I Love this store. I live closer to another Home Depot, but I prefer this one. It is clean, well laid out, and the sales associates are always willing to help, especially Keith. He took my list (and me) and filled every item on it in record time. Finally, service at a retail outlet. Thank You Home Depot.

Horrible managers running the store ever since Mitch left, only decent one who knew what he was doing... Ben is good too... I see that store going to down hill once Ben leaves.

Too much equipment blocking isles. Areas gated off (like for forklift and no one or forklift is in that area) couldn’t access things I needed.

The store is always clean and the staff is polite and courteous.

Convenient location. Good supplies. Good staff.

Women's restrooms were filthy and no working soap dispenser, or the soaps were all empty. Way too few check lines for the amount of shoppers.

The location where the store is located is not great. There are homeless people located throughout the parking lot. There is broken glass throughout the parking lot indicative of car burglaries. The nursery department is very limited at this particular store.

I LOVE COMING TO THIS STORE BECAUSE THE TREATMENT THAT I ALWAYS RECEIVED HERE IS JUST GREAT. AS SOON AS I ENTER TO THIS STORE THERE'S A GREAT WELCOMING AND EMPLOYEES ARE ON TOP OF THINGS. I DO SHOP QUITE A BIT AT HD AT THE BAY AREA AND VERY FEW ONES ARE AS GOOD AS THE ONE IN HAYWARD. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

The store was clean. The associates where friendly & helpful! There was no parking closer to the entrance, i had to go around a few times!
