There appears to be very few people working in key areas in this store. I was shopping for a storm door and no one was available and I was told the "door" person would be in that evening. I came back another day and started the process but have been waiting over a week for a call back to schedule. I have left numerous messages and still no call back from the department or the manager. I have contacted online customer service - have seriously spend an enormous amount of time and energy - and still nothing. I can't recommend this experience to anyone.

Here so often we can find everything with a blindfold on. Very pleasant employees.

The store was neat and well organized. I found what I was looking for that was unavailable at other similar stores. It seemed to have mo re items and the staff was friendly and available to help. It is conveniently located and I would definitely visit again when traveling on the Merritt parkway..

Waited 20 minutes for an associate to finish a break so they could retrieve a 4x8 sheet of panel board from a top shelf and cut it for me.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. I was able to get everything that I needed at that one store. Very easy to get around nice and clean. I will shop there again. The Hamden Store...... Great

Great customer service!!

The Manager on Duty on 06/07/2019 was very rude. The staff tried to help, but the Manager kept interrupting. The last straw was when the Manager referred to me as a "bad penny." I have reported the matter to the corporate office and am demanding a written apology. I always shopped there. This particular Manager has been rude in the past to customers, but the name calling is unacceptable, especially when the advertised prices and the sku do not match. Instead of berating the customer this manager could have simply made a price adjustment. So on a scale of 1-10, I'm giving this store -1. What a horrible experience.

THIS IS A TERRIFIC STORE, WITH A SUPER CREW. I just like to stop by from time to time and check what is on sale, or just to pick up a few things. I like to walk around the store and shop at my convenience, without high pressure techniques or gimmicks. It is truly a relaxing experience. Yes.

The associate that assisted me was knowledgeable about every department and more helpful than any I have previously had experience with. I believe his name is Earl.

An employee (Victoria) was working the check out in the garden section. An elderly woman in front of me was having all kind of problems checking out with a credit card. Victoria guided her thru the process several times due the woman having been unable to push certain buttons and things like that. I was very impressed on how Victoria had the patience and stamina to help this woman get thru the line. The woman apologized to me and others for taking up a lot of time but the experience of watching Victoria guide this woman was well worth the wait. She is one in a million.

If you need appliances, or have any problems with your order, Juline is awesome, and will help you! Orlando the manager is also helpful, but Juline fixed a really complex and frustrating problem I was having with my online order that no one else seemed to know how to fix, or didn’t care to. Juline was competent, helpful and knowledgeable, go see her in the appliance department!

I really like this Home Depot and it is the only one I go to. The people are very nice, very helpful! They really take care of you, make sure you've found everything you need and they answer questions - they seem very knowledgeable about their products. I actually learn a lot by talking with them.

Most everyone very helpfyl. I ended up with the cashier that couldn't even say Hello. My only problem is the dogs always in the store even though entrance states no dogs except service dogs. I love dogs, but they don't belong in stores where they can get scared and bite or start peeing on plants or other things. Seen it. Or worse they do #2 and owner walks away and pretends it didn't happen. Take your dogs to the per stores.

Not too crowded, plenty of product availability and staff to assist.

I like this store because the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone seems cheerful too. I have never had a problem trying to get help with anything. They ask you if they can help. It is a great place to shop. The store is clean, the restroom is clean, and the parking lot is clean!

You have helpful and knowledgeable people, especially at the pro desk.

The store was clean and easy to find products. The employees were very friendly.

Tina on the service desk is very experienced and personable. Bob on the floor also very experienced and personable, Between the two it was the best customer service . The two are an asset to your company. Keep up the good work!!!!

It took two trips to purchase an off the shelf garage door opener with the marquee advertised installation. On the first trip, I had to tour your store to find someone to tend the millwork station. After nearly an hour which included the salesperson calling, paging, and ultimately hunting down another salesperson to help, and both of them making calls to the in store manager who apparently wasn't interested in leaving her office. I finally explained that I would return The problem was apparent; the computer system had list prices and no allowance for the advertised discounts. The following morning I was able to find a millwork rep that was able to apply the discounts and sell me the opener. Colby, my Saturday morning rep was knowledgeable, efficient, and customer friendly. He promised however that a rep would contact me Monday to schedule an installation. Having not heard from anyone by Wednesday afternoon I attempted to call Colby (at 3:00 PM, his card said his hours were 7A to 3:30P). He had left for the day, and there was no one there who could contact the installers. I called again this morning, and asked for Colby. After five (5) sessions of being on hold and ringing back to the central office, Shawna explained that Colby was not working today. I explained my need to Shawna who placed me on hold (#6) to find another associate. Shawna returned after the hold to tell me no one answered. She took my name and phone number and promised to have someone call me from the millwork desk. I’m still waiting, but not holding my breath.

These employees are kind. Every time I shop here one of the employees ask if I need help. Being kind and helping someone is not a thing of the past. I love shopping here because of that very thing. They make you feel important.

The customer service is awful. My suggestion would be employees get customer service training. The customers are your greatest asset, please show them that they are valued. Try to actually resolve customer questions/issues without trying to pass the buck. A customer should not have to hunt for resolutions and speak with more than 7 associates for resolution.
