I had a wonderful experience at the Gainesville Home Depot. I went in unsure of what paint to get for a home project I am doing and I was assisted by Bob, a helpful and friendly employee. He took the time to walk me through the differences between paints and I left feeling confident about the choice I made. I love walking into Home Depot (with little knowledge about home improvement) and being helped by friendly employees who make my experience a great one.

Have had things shipped to this store several times when it could only be ordered online they always notified me as soon as it came in and helped some load it when I came to pick it up. Good service.

The store is clean and well stocked. Most employees are helpful and courteous and some are lazy and wouldn’t offer assistance if they had to.

I do not like shopping when people bring their dogs to the store.

The folks who work at the store in Gainesville have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly

The Gainesville Home Depot differs little from other Home Depot stores. There are plenty of products available, but too few employees are scheduled during busy periods. I have always had a good experience with the employees that are working but more employees are needed. I have tried several times to return an item and the line is always so long I cannot afford to wait. Same goes for check outs. Not enough! Home Depot has been very successful and profitable and can easily afford to hire more people and pay them well.

The staff has gone out of their way to help me in the Gainesville Home Depot. Helping me pick items, check out, and take and load into my car. All with a smile. That's why I keep coming back to them. 5 star service.

Employees standing around while you have to load your own lumber, or any heavy merchandise.even though you requested help.. Employees seem to vanish very quickly ....

The store carries a wide variety of products plus an even greater variety on line. The employees are ALWAYS incredibly helpful and friendly. Remember "Customer Service"? They do!!! I'm never disappointed.

The manager Mo that helped my wife and myself was amazing. She told my wife where she could find some help for her with a school function. My wife is a special education teacher and is in charge of the special olympics. She pointed my wife in a direction to help with that. She was super helpful and amazing friendly. We will come back and work with her anytime.

Bought a new Lg refrigerator , in less than a month it broke down. Went back this home depot, the man who sold it to us, said the problem was between the buyer and LG., NOT Home Deport. Well after blowing in LG to the Better Business Bureau, we were given a BRAND NEW LG refrigerator, lost about $200.00 worth of food...Thanks for nothing Home Depot...

Thank you for getting rid of the customer service lady who cussed all the time. The checkout cashiers are always so helpful and nice. And each and every employee around the store seems to know just where to find things and ask me if I need help or direction just when I need it.

I just love going to the Gainesville store. The people are always very helpful, the store well stocked and it even smells good throughout the store. I would recommend to any one who is needing questions answered about a project , Gainesvilles's Home Depot is the place to go.

Home Depot in Gainesville TX is a pleasant store to shop in. The employees are friendly and some will really go out of their way to help. You'll probably enjoy your experience.

False Advertisement on carpet. Plan 1 month in advance minimum to get "7 day carpet" installed. After you get your house measured it can take up to 12 business days for installation. It will take at least a week (business days) to get someone to measure your carpet, then it takes up to 2 business days for them to call you and pay for carpet, then it takes another 3 business days to schedule installation, then it takes 7 business days for installation. Up to 10 business days after you purchase. I asked about expedition of the process but to no avail. Its an extremely painful and incredibly inefficient process. I will be approx. 27 days getting "7 day carpet" installed. Also allow plenty of time when ordering on Homedepot.com, within 48 hours of delivery of appliances they rescheduled my delivery date 2 weeks later. I highly recommend not hiring a contractor to perform work on your house until products are at your door step. I thought planning for everything 1 month in advance was enough but it was not. If you have any issues with your order, take the day off of work. You will be on the phone for many hours getting the run around to their many departments, small appliances, major appliances, and the 10 flooring departments listed above and none of them can help outside their one specific area. ( cannot schedule with carpet payment department, cannot pay with carpet measuring division, have to talk to different departments about a oven vs a vent hood). Manager is supposed to email me back in get this " 7 days ". I will follow up in December when I hear back.

The people in this store are very friendly and helpful with handling large and heavy materials. Good also at helping find things. Very good stock and selection of items.

All the staff is willing to assist with a "best Solution" and able to direct me to the BEST QUALIFIED person to determine the most expedient and most cost effective solution. The products rarely come with any instructions or "Tips" on the best application / installation methods. The people in this store are solution orientated and willing to discuss several approaches to solving my particular issues. ary They are quick to note their personal ignorance of my issue and aware of the other people in the store who have product implementation / interconnection knowledge to potentially avoid costly installation processes.

I can barely find an associated at the Sherman location. This store is by far best.

The Gainesville store has been a contributing factor in the success of my business. I find the employees at this location to be professional, courteous and conscientious. I will continue to buy my materials from this location even though I pass several competitors whose stores are closer on my way to the Gainesville store. Outstanding crew! I always have a good experience shopping there. It's usually not hard to find what I want, but if they don't have it they will order it. I always get good assistance..

More than once, I have entered this store, & COULD NOT get ANYONE to help me. When I DID find someone, they didn't know where the product was that I was searching for. Tonight was different. I got excellent help I needed immediately.
