Bought twenty 80lb bags of concrete and requested help loading (I'm a 100% disabled vet) and no one showed up for 10 minutes because they were busy helping someone load on the side of building but I checked and no one was around. Just expect more folks at the ready during busy times and not trying to dodge helping customers.

I had a great experience today, it surprised me to find an actual professional that was able to help me so much today, usually I have trouble finding someone that can help me so much.

Friendly staff. Always willing to help. Could use more help taking paint orders. However all the employees are very knowledgeable of the store and where to locate items.

This Home Depot is top notch. It is always very clean, well stocked and associates are friendly and willing to help. The Garden Center is awesome. It is so easy to shop and maneuver due to the aisles always being clear. Way to go Gainesville!

My husband and I were ready to cancel a large purchase that we had made because of the overall confusion and difficulty over using his Perk points. The woman at the service desk named Angel, called over the ASM Justin Carter. He resolved the issue and we left that day very happy with our new purchase. Thank you guys for your help.

After extreme weather conditions in our area our well had some busted pvc pipes, and apparently we weren’t the only ones in town needing supplies. We weren’t sure what we were going to do or how long we were going to have to wait to fix our problem with nothing in stock, but with the help and knowledge of the employee Don W in the plumbing and electrical dept we were able to piece together needed supplies to get it fixed! Thanks so much for your help!

The employees at the Gainesville Home depot are consistently very friendly and helpful. I enjoy my visits to the store and usually am able to find what I need. I would recommend it to anyone.

This particular location has a very good garden dept., good paint service, and good home improvement. (Lighting, Laminate flooring, and blinds) The staff are very responsive and are eager to help you find what you need.

SOMETIMES, IF I CANT FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR, THERE IS SOMEONE WHO OBVIOUSLY NOTICES MY CONFUSION, JUMPING IN TO ASK IF THEY CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE. AND I DO APPRECIATE THE HELP. I GET THE PRODUCT I AM LOOKING FOR WITH THEIR HELP.THE STORE IS ALSO NEATLY ORGANIZED. CHECKOUT IS FAST AND EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY. THEIR SMILES BRIGHTEN EVEN THE GLOOMIEST DAYS.

For years this store has been a unpleasant shopping experience. There is a small hard ware store here in town. I will always go there first, because I dread going to Home Depot for anything. It a very rare thing to get a Home Depot with the experience of taking care of customers. As I see it, most of the employees are young give a crap I won't work here long, ill trained idiots. Yes I have talked to different managers thru the years, but nothing changes! Going to this Home Depot is a last resort trip, and I know it will be a unpleasant trip!!!

Home Depot is a great place to shop in Gainesville. The staff is very helpful.

During a global CoronoaVirus pandemic, Home Depot decided to remove the glass where laser scanners were located, to instead use only handheld scanners at the self-service checkout counters (which were the only ones available at my time of departure). So when we are trying to socially distance and not touch surfaces, you FORCE customers to PICK UP a handheld scanner that many other germ laden customers have used, getting unnecessary germs on our hands. Then, when my card is not being read properly, the clerk got inches away from my face. One product I bought was visably, noticeably, very dusty.

I was so happy with the Gainesville Home Depot. The staff was super helpful and helped me find everything, loaded it up for me and they had everything I needed.

Two very young male employees answered where the doorbells were; said aisle 11, but it was aisle 5 (answered by an older employee). Went to checkout in the front middle (where I always do) & someone barked at me from Customer Service. I was told I had to go to the either far end of the store. Spoke to manager, who said Covid-19 forced them to close center checkout (which was not posted). Went to Pro Desk, 5 employees there, but only 1 register open. Employee did not social distance. Horrible!
