Fivestars is there is deserve because of chat he makes it okay to come to home Depot you have experienced people who know what they're doing and you can always get the job done properly and you don't have to stress that you won't find any help from you go to it thanks to him freehold his okay.

CSR Beth in carpeting was absolutely amazing ! I came in for carpeting for our work office & Beth went above & beyond to make sure we got what we wanted . There was an error in pricing & Beth contacted the vendor to make sure we got the price we were quoted. She even helped me chose the right glue & tools for the job . Jerry in carpeting was also very nice & helpful . Thank you Beth & Jerry.

A bunch of good employees here away looking out for the customer in need.

The store was clean and there were employees at hand to help when help is needed. The employer who helped me was very friendly, but the cashier made my day. His friendliness, mannerism, and politeness was exceptional.

Lorie in Paint Department was very courteous and helpful. She went above and beyond to help me in bringing items to checkout and to load them in my van.

Terrible business from home depot in general, the worker never told me that the delivery is done by a 3rd party which has poor customer service. They did not deliver any washer machine as promise by home depot and they now want me to wait another week, I will cancel my order and never do any business with home depot, I email corporate and did not receive any response nor from the freehold store regarding my order, I should no be contacting everybody to figure out how to fix this issue.

A shout out to Marcel, one of the managers - a very nice gentleman who makes the shopping experience very nice.

Kevin was such a big help and kept us from making a costly mistake. He went above and beyond.

Was in and out of the store quickly due to the help from the two gentlemen in the outdoor area. The associates made me a priority and it felt great to be taken care of that quickly. Thanks!

If you are reading reviews to consider shopping at the Freehold Home Depot... this may be the most important review you ever read. Because today I was returning an item (pressure washer) and got called a liar by the manager on duty, Elvisa... twice... in front of two other store employees and another customer... and lost money. Now, my experience may be different than others... and it's possible you could get another manager who is nicer; but if you ever want to run the risk of being called a liar for NO REASON, and like losing money... then this is your place. I am NOT the ornery type of customer who stomps their feet until they get their way... I'm always courteous and agreeable with just about everyone... no matter the outcome because who the heck has time to argue about small crap. In fact, I think this is probably the first negative review I've ever written on a retail store for poor service in my life, and in a moment you'll see why. I was returning a Ryobi electric pressure washer that my friend had suggested to me. He said it had ample power to pressure wash the vinyl siding on my mom's townhouse in Freehold (I'm only in town for a few days to knock out a few projects). I had a single use $25 gift card, and the unit was $199. My plan was to use the pressure washer to clean the home and bring it back down on the moving truck to Florida with me, because my wife and I need one at the house. I took the unit home, put it together, and to my dismay it was freaking awful. Hardly any power and I called my buddy who suggested it to see if I was doing something wrong... it just didn't have any power. Worst part was, I was out of time and couldn't wash the siding and concrete. I had to grab an Uber to get to Home Depot because I had already turned in the rental car... where I left the receipt for the pressure washer :/ I brought the unit inside, and they (Francine and Chris who were SUPER nice) said there was no problem with the refund... but in order to get my $25 coupon back I had to wait for the manager Elvisa. After waiting a few minutes because Elvisa was on the phone... ...she assessed the situation and informed me there was nothing she could do about the coupon (even after Chris told me that some managers would usually take care of the customer, while others wouldn't). I wasn't happy about the whole thing but, hey... I was ready to move on. Again... who has time to argue or care about petty crap? Well, Elvisa wanted to throw a last dart I guess, looked at the power washer and said "What was wrong with it?" Me: "Just didn't have enough power." Her: "Pssht... you mean it didn't have enough power after you got done with your project." Me: "Are you suggesting that I'm lying to you?" Her: "Well... it is really dirty." She then gave me a snarky smirk, did NOT apologize, and walked away... and Francine (again a sweetheart) completed the transaction. I looked at Chris and said "Man I wish I had gotten another manager!" ...as a joke... and left. Was I OK with losing my $25 coupon? Not really... but who cares. Was I OK with being called a liar... TWICE? Not at all. I still have a house to power wash... and got a real bad attitude from a manager who seemed more interested in ordering breakfast than helping a customer out. DO NOT go to this shop if you can help it. Unless of course being called a liar and losing money is your thing...

Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable employees. They go out of their way to help and make you feel important and valued. The store was clean, and organized. I didn't think I would find the product I was looking for, as it is a smaller store. But I was wrong. I found everything I needed and more. Thank you Freehold..my favorite home improvement store. Mr. Langone is so right about Home Depot. Also Super respectful of Military veterans..way to go!

This store is a mess. Always dirty. Stuff thrown around, isles blocked with merchandise. No one around to help. When you finally find an associate they all have the same answer, "This is not my dept." Obviously customer service is not a priority. They make money without it.

This store is average and has some understaffing issues but there are several employees that have me coming back. John C. from the garden dept. and Joe from paint provide spectacular service and are always helpful even in regards to information/support for other departments. These super employees are the sole reason for my support of this store. The management team is hardly seen when I am there. In addition the wait time it takes for service on the floor can be ridiculous up to 25 min. to get lumber or hardware service. Be aware if you go here that the staff is friendly and accommodating but you may need to wait because some departments may only have 1 person there to help you.
