Great Help at just the right time
"Dave in Electrical" also showed great expertise in Plumbing, at just the right time this morning. I had never touched or worked with Shark Bite plumbing joints before, and Dave walked me through everything that I needed to know.
The solution went very well, and I was able to repair a friend's hot water problem in no time!

Garage door opener
Bot the item on 11/3/22 and they won’t install it for at least a month.
My story about the problem that I have with the purchase is a little long, but I can tell you that this is the first time that I received a customer service that it was beyond my expectations, this person named Jean stay with me all the way until we solve this problem that seems to have no end and no solution. But she did the calls, she was patient and she solved the problem that I had with homedepot.com beyond my expectations.

Self-Checkout agrression
I had a very hostile experience this morning with Linda who was working the self-checkout line.
Before I personally had an interaction with Linda, I witnessed her yelling at a gentleman, to get in line. The man was unresponsive as I believe he did not speak English. At this point, Linda was practically in this gentleman’s face yelling at him to get in line and pointing to where the line was. With the gesture of where the line was, the gentleman understood and moved.
After witnessing this I proceeded to gather the portable AC I had come in for. Coincidentally, the large portable ACs were located next to the self-checkout line. I had to literally be in line to take the AC down and put it on the flatbed cart. Being that I was already in line, I walked through the sectioned area of the line to self-checkout. There was no one in line and there were 2 self-checkout locations open. I proceeded to go to the first machine available and complete my purchase.
While I was putting inserting my card to pay, Linda approached me with an aggressive tone telling me I needed to wait in line like everyone else. Taken aback by the sharpness in her tone, I responded by telling her there was no line when I came through. She proceeded to yell at me that there is order and that is the purpose of the line. Other words were exchanged as I was now upset and had already purchased my item. When I asked her name she yelled saying that her name is Linda and “they” have her here to keep order.
I left the self-checkout line as I knew nothing good was going to happen if I stayed. I walked down to customer service and asked for assistance taking the large AC out to my car; something Linda failed to offer as she thought keeping the line “in order” was her main priority. I also asked to speak to the manager.
Vanessa the manager arrived quickly to talk to me. I explained to her the situation I witnessed with Linda and my personal experience. As I was talking to Vanessa, a gentleman behind me chimed in saying he also did not have a pleasant experience with Linda, mentioning her aggression. Vanessa listened to my concerns and was very engaged. As I was leaving, it seemed she was going to address my concerns with Linda.
I would like to add that Vanessa and the gentleman who helped me to my car were very friendly and provided great customer service. However, the interaction that Linda instigated was completely unnecessary and inappropriate. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Poor customer service
No registers were open , The self checkout registers line was super long and all the had was 1 person working self checkout. You need to have better customer service and more regular registers open for customers!!!

Dave M. in Plumbing is awesome!
We drove an hour to Federal Way for a specific water heater to find out the inventory was marked wrong. Dave M. was helpful, kind, and provided superior customer service to ensure our trip was not wasted. I appreciate his help in turning what could have been a very disappointing trip into a good experience!!!

Dave is the best employee there!
I needed help with some PVC pipes and Dave helped me out from start to finish. He’s a stand up guy and a wonderful employee. Go to him if you need help in Plumbing!

Customer Service is non-existent
Visited this location twice. The first day, we asked 3 different employees 3 different questions. Each one referred us to someone else or didn't know the answer. The next day I called the store 3 different times. On hold for 40 minutes total, then eventually got hung up on. Later that day I went back to the store in hopes of speaking to someone in appliances. 4 different employees paged for someone over the intercom, nobody came. Was told it closes down around 7pm but we were there before 5pm. Finally we were told to take a picture of the product and take it to Customer Service and they would answer our questions, which we did. Monica was more than willing to help & answer all questions we had. Probably won't go back there unless we absolutely have to.

Great shopping experience!
I needed a lightrd garland to put aroung my front door to go with my other Christmas lights, as my two old ones were well worn. The young woman in the area was most helpful and found the last garland in the store, and arranged a discount for it as well!
