Today I went to buy a Milwaukee Sawzall," (Reciprocating saw) and Blades. 1. I had problems with Home Depot credit card application in the store, because I applied on line. The website should advise you that its faster approval to apply at the store. 2. I had problems with store pick up "delay process." Customer Service staff said it will take 4 hours to give it to me. 3. I went to the aisle to get it myself, but the store Employee LOUIE that works the Tool aisle DID NOT alert me or warn me that the cordless Milwaukee saw I was buying DID NOT COME WITH A BATTERY and THAT IT COST MORE THAN THE SAW. I didn't discover this until I got home. 4. The manager Daniel also saw the item I was purchasing, was aware of my purchase; and did not advise/warn me either that it didn't have a battery. 5. The Sawzall package only has an incomplete 2 words, "TOOL ONLY." That is not an alert that it's lacking the battery and charger. The Milwaukee saw DOES NOT HAVE A WARNING OF BATTERY NOT INCLUDED. Store employee should be more informative or helpful regarding this issue. 6. I called the manufacture and told them of the missing important information it should've had, "BATTERY NOT INCLUDED." 7. This missing communication from both the store employee and the manufacture, prevented Home Depot from possibly making another sale, (battery & charger) and prevented the customer from making a better decision, because in this case, the battery & the charger were "a lot more expensive" than the tool itself. This was another stressful trip to Home Depot, due to credit card dept not providing full explanation on the applying process, store asile employee not helpful, and the manufacture's missing important package information. However, I would like to thank Manager Daniel for assisting me in the sawzall purchase, and hopefully he will appreciate my feedback.

On Saturday afternoon, at approximately 3:05pm, I went to Home Depot to buy 1 sack of cement, saw blades and a water hose. As I walked down the cement aisle, I saw 2 male employees sweeping the cement dust from the floor. I waved my hand to them to get their attention and to ask them to help me load the cement. When they saw me, they both turned away and continued sweeping. I was apprehensive about getting too close to the dust they were making due to my asthma, but I had to get closer because they both had turned their backs to me and I needed their help. As I got closer to the 2 employees, I yelled out to them, “hello, excuse me, can you help me!” When they finally turned towards me, I waved to them again to come closer to me, because of all the cement dust in the aisle. One of the employees just yelled at me saying, "What, what do you want, I'm not a dog, I'm not a dog!!" I tried to explain why I needed them to come towards me, but (Matt) just kept angrily arguing with me and repeating that he wasn't a dog. I asked them both for their help with loading a cement bag into my cart. Matt said, "in a minute," both turned their backs to me again, ignoring me and continued sweeping. I saw another employee in the same aisle, and I asked him to please help me to get the cement bag and he did. I didn't get his name, but he's tall and husky, clean cut hair and wears glasses. I told him I had asthma and I couldn't go with him down the aisle due to the dust, so I waited for him to come back. When he brought back my cart with the cement, I asked him to please call for a manager so I could report the incident with Matt and his co-worker. Later, Mgr. Art came to me and I told him everything, I also told Mr. Art I would be submitting a survey and I will talk to Mr. Zubia. I know that many customers, including myself have yelled out or waved to employees to get their attention and to get assistance. That is not an interpretation that the employees are dogs; Matt was just very rude, unprofessional to the extent of being arrogant. It appears that he is still inexperienced on customer interactions. We don't mean to be disrespectful, the aisles are long and sometimes the employees are walking in a different direction or stocking a shelf. I have never been treated in this manner before and I have been a HomeDepot customer there since the store was built. All your employees have been very helpful and professional. I am a 64 year old man, with a metal plate on my right wrist, which is why I needed assistance. Matt and his coworker made me feel embarrassed and humiliated.

Have had far more bad experiences than good at this store. Would easily shop somewhere else if the same brands are carried, but I’m seriously starting to consider the Kobalt brand that Lowe’s carries as well as other brands. Shopped there approximately a month ago (still have the receipt somewhere), spent about 90 minutes in the store just looking for different types of wood for a couple different projects. Saw wood that I was surprised to see priced the way that it was (attributed it to cutting prices to get customers during these times), decided on it. Did not at all stated priced by the foot or per foot pricing. Got to check stand and the cashier gave me a different price than what was stated. Again, the cashier didn’t even understand what the price tag meant. Called a supervisor over and she explained lf is linear foot. Not only had I never heard of this, but it was also written very small on the price tag. Regardless I still wouldn’t have known what it meant. Asked for a manager to come over (mainly to express my disagreement with the way it’s displayed, knew he wouldn’t adjust the price so wasn’t expecting him too), got the store assistant manager about 5 minutes later (David B). Explained the issue and even went so far as to say that if we asked a random customer if they knew what lf meant that I would drop the issue. Obviously that didn’t happen since no customer was going to be bothered (knows he would have looked foolish). He told me that the pricing for that wood was explained throughout that aisle and that maybe they would change it to something that made a little more sense. First, he lied....there is nothing in the aisle for where this wood is that explains what lf means, I’ve taken pictures of this with date time stamps. He isn’t stupid so I know that he was just lying to my face. Second, lied again when he said that maybe the pricing would reflect something that was more realistic instead of trying to understand some secret code. Lastly called customer service after being lied to pist me off enough, first question I asked the rep (in context of the situation, explained to him that it had to do with purchasing wood) is if he knew what lf meant. He had no idea. Asked to have someone call me back (district manager) so I could do a complaint. Obviously told me that someone would, that was almost a month ago.
