people are not helpful

I have been to many Home Depots and by far I rate this the worst, since I had to return an item for the second time after being told the first time item was working fine, I called in advanced to see if this would be an issue I was told no and I could return item, when I arrived was told no refund store credit was offered, had them call manager on duty who refused to refund item. I ended up getting store credit which if given the choice I would of spent my money elsewhere, now i'm stuck with a credit at a store I do not wish to buy from since I was lied to not once but 3 times.

Jeff and Marisol did all they could to find the exact product that I needed. Both being kind and respectful. They definitely made my experience here much better.

Cluttered, and 'why' do they insist on restocking the shelves during the day when customers are trying to shop. Shouldn't this be done at night? Sorta' hard to buy something when the entire aisle is closed.

I already said it before. I very much like the location but don't like the store. Actually it looks much more like a depot than a store ( items mixed up in the shelves, new arrivals stored in the alleys, damaged items everywhere,...) .

Yes, we need more supervisors like Angel Singh at this from Store #6672. In general, this store has very poor customer service, however, due to the exceptional service provided to me by Angel Singh today, I would like to believe the store is on track to change that perception. Angel was not only functioning as a supervisor, but also she was able to get help where she needed and made sure the customer needs are met first. Great attitude and work ethic. Thank you!

No one available to help you. Not sure if is bad training, but would suggest to better train especially on wood cutting machine operator. Manager does not resolve problems to satisfaction of customer. Will not be purchasing anything from the Story Road location and will also spreading the word to our friends not to go there as well as manager covers up employees misshaps. Unfortunately manager used bad judgement.

Resonably clean store, friendly and efficient employees.

This is the worst store ever to get in touch with someone if you have a problem or a question with a purchase. I have called them numerous times over the past week to discuss a delivery problem and issue with a reimbursement. I have been on hold for about 20 minutes each time and if someone does answer the phone, they put you on hold again to talk to a manager. I have been hung up on by this process at least five times and only one time have I spoken to a manager who assured me she would take care of my issue and she did not. It is very frustrating.

Poor poor customer service - if you can visit another store. I went in to purchase some lightbulbs, the box holding the bulbs was out of reach. Asked 3 associates near by for assistance, all said "not my aisle" and they would page, waited, asked another associate, same thing not my area, asked another, not my area. Went to the desk and asked for the manager, she did not even look up from her computer screen, said she would page someone. Another 10 minutes finally someone came, reluctantly said they would need to find a ladder and stood there as if waiting for me to say never mind. I said ok I will wait, she sighed and got the ladder and my light bulbs. the check out was all self service, half not working, line was very long while 4 associates stood there in case anyone needed help.

Filthy Parking lot, poorly stocked shelves & bins, mixed stock, nearly impossible to find a helpful employee.

This is one of the largest Home Depot's in our area and Helene in carpeting was over the top helpful in searching for the items shown in inventory but not on the sales floor shelves. She found ALL the items we were looking for at 4 other HD stores. I would consider shopping at this location again, even though it isn't the closet HD to our home. Helene ROCKS!

Luis from the Plumbing Department was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and service oriented. Helped make my experience a positive one and will return!

I have stated how well we were treated by employees and staff at Home Depot in previous questions of this survey. This store of the 3 I have shopped at in San Jose has been the most courteous, friendly and professionally helpful.
