I went to the Home Depot in Durango, Colorado. 120 miles round trip. I wanted to buy an appliance package. The associate in that department showed no interest, between sucking down a bottle drink, in helping me. She actually told me to go and look on the Home Depot internet site and decide what I wanted. That's what I did. I have a small refrigerator space and spent more for a simple refrigerator. Clearly I drove to Home Depot for help and was sent away by a soda sucking young woman. She could of cared less that I needed help. I ordered from the internet, Order Number W892640130 Order Date Jul. 27 Check Order Status Was there a better deal on 4 Samsung appliances, I just do not know as I was sent home to figure it out. 120 miles round trip to be sent home by a sales associate. I thought management should know about my experience. It was impossible for me to spend over $4,000.00 in the store. Go home and use the internet.

Need a new appliance? Visit the Durango Home Depot and ask for Jan Bell. You’ll never get better help.

The store is clean and well stocked. The people are helpful. The experience is ok as long as you can use self checkout.

Not very helpful to the elderly!

We were over charged by over $50 due to error by self check out person who assisted us. This requires US to return to the store for a refund... 45 minute drive one way, we are not happy at all.

Home Depot is your go to place for friendly faces while trying to fix or supply your home and business

Clearly this corporation wants to force their potential customers to "mask-up" before entering. This is now unnecessary and proven ineffective. Additionally, there is no mask mandate in the State of Colorado. The muzzled employees have given up trying to enforce this, but the insulting giant signs at the entrance will encourage me to shop elsewhere.

I always go to home depot for all my supplies, we flip houses, and we always find everything we need, but last time we were little disappointed, the costumer service was not the great.

I needed helping picking out kitchen appliances for a complete remodel. Jan Bell, a customer service rep in the appliance department was a complete and total rock star. Not only did she help with good recommendations, but the helped to make sure things would be available when I needed them and also recommended small bits and pieces that would be necessary to make installation easier. Great customer service!!!

Bought stackable shelving for garage storage. Is super strong and easy to set up

Living more than 100 miles from ANY home improvement store, I visit several Home Depot stores regularly and while the Durango Colorado store is technically not the closest or the largest, it is usually the most convenient store with the most helpful staff and always appears clean, orderly, and well organized, so it is worth a slightly longer drive. We are about half way through our most recent, and largest remodelling project, and as usual, the staff at the Durango store is proving their worth as part of the team. I am grateful for the product knowledge, advice, and helpful service we always get there. Unless you build a much closer one, the Durango Home Depot will always be my "local" home improvement store.

Don't be in a hurry or need help.

Great experience. My Salesperson/ Cashier (Connor) was extremely helpful and he had some great ideas for my next project. He made sure I had everything and he even asked if I needed help loading my supplies. Wonderful experience.

Great customer service and they always have what I need and at good prices. I always buy more than what’s on my list because I always find awesome deals and I can’t resist. Will definitely be shopping here again soon!

Bought a glacier bay toilet for a customer replacement. No lid included. Two week delivery with extra service call now needed at my expense. Things like this make homedepot much more expensive than other alternatives.

Thanks to the great employees at the Durango Home Depot. Whenever I have large purchases, I am always helped out to my vehicle and the employees always do so with a smile. I really appreciate it!

Gone are the days of over the top customer service, but when you find someone they are always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I’m actually annoyed sometimes when (as a woman) people approach me and assume I know nothing, but likewise hate it when no one comes to assist or ask if there is anything they can do. However, just ask someone and they will be sure to assist. Good store with good employees and haven’t had a horrible experience yet. Do like the selection in Farmington better, but what can you do.

Associate 'Jan' was very helpful. I cannot say the same about customer service, they seemed quite lazy, uninformed, and unwilling to help.

Let’s be honest... I don’t have much choice in Durango. But I can almost always get what I need at this store and the staff is always friendly. I love using the app to find items so I don’t always have to find an employee to help me. But if I do need employee help, they are always happy to help.

You have a employee named Drew. He is the best!!!! I think you should give him a raise. He helped me find what I needed. He went with me to make sure I could find it.So polite and very knowledgeable, and very caring for your Home Depot Store!!!!

The Durango Home Depot is a busy place. Overall, I would rate the employees as caring and dedicated to their jobs. My experience has been if they do not know, they reach out to someone in the store that has a stronger knowledge base.

The employees were not helpful and walk right past you. When requesting service from Cindy, she was rude and seem annoyed that I was requesting service. Her attitude and speech about not having a countertop appointment was as if she was admonishing at child. We drove 120 miles round trip and were not aware that an appointment was needed. This is not posted on the website. I guess they do not care if they get my business and the few thousand dollars that I wanted to spend on a countertop, range and farmhouse sink. Although disobedient to Cindy, I waited for one of the countertop representatives to get done with the customers they were helping. One of the gentleman eventually asked me if I needed help. He was efficient but his demeanor with me (didn't have an appointment) was vastly different than the couple he had helped prior for which I watched him interact with for over 30 minutes. I felt he was annoyed that I waited for him to finish and did not have an appointment. I left feeling very rejected and if I had any other choice without driving further, I would have done so.

The strore is well stocked and a bright spot in shopping in the rural southwest Colorado.

Go to a different store/Home Depot if you can.
