Home Depot is now my go to store! I recently stopped shopping at the local competitor due to the horrible customer service received in the last 6 months. I never before realized how much more attentive and caring the staff the Home Depot is. And I should add that you actually see staff in Home Depot. Good luck trying to get anyone at the other store, even on a good day.

He met me in the aisle I needed, found a cart, loaded the door I needed onto it, and then proceeded to the lumber aisle where he carefully chose quality pressure treated boards with few knots in them. He then pushed all of this to the register and out to my truck where he loaded it for me. He was courteous and friendly and did not make me feel like a burden.     Store manager MATT was excellent, However not his fault for this issue. We were to receive a frig on Tuesday August 4 between 2-6 pm. it never showed up and we never got a call about this issue. I called the local HD to complain but nothing was done so I drove to the location on Wednesday 8/5. . I talked to service and they resolved this issue. The refrigerator was delivered today 8/6/20. Small issues are there are scratches and dents on it. We are going to keep it however since I do not want to go through another delivery. We also cannot secure the wheels, it keeps rolling when you open the doors. AGAIN that's not HD fault...Delivery needs to be improved...More communication!

    Very disappointed. I purchased a stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer. I chose items that were in stock. All 4 items were in stock so I could have picked them up the day I bought them, however I decided to wait the two weeks to get them shipped. I received an email a few days before delivery and was told how to prepare. The day of delivery we took the doors off the hinges throughout the house. My husband and a friend took a day off of work. They removed the items from the house early and took them to the junk yard. Home Depot never showed up. No one called me or emailed me. I called and was told my refrigerator and stove were not in stock. However my credit card was charged for all four appliances the day I bought them. I am not sure where the refrigerator and stove went because it was in stock when I ordered it. Did they sell it? Thinking they would get more in? I was told they were on back order until September. I asked that they bring the washer and dryer that day. Home Depot said they couldn’t because the whole order was there. I needed to cancel the refrigerator and stove in order to get my washer and dryer delivered on a different day. So I canceled. Delivery was set for the follow Tuesday. Home Depot never showed up again. I spoke with several different people throughout this process and constantly had to repeat what was going on. No one knew anything. I ordered the whole order onJuly 3 it is now July 27th I still have not received my refund for the washer and dryer. It’s funny because they Were quick to charge me for the products the day I ordered them but It takes 10 business days to refund my card?..That’s what I was told but I still didn’t receive my refund. Horrible business. Horrible communication. I understand because of the corona virus production was stalled but inform the customer let us know before we buy something. Take time off and get rid of the product. I do not recommend buying anything on line from Home Depot.

      The appliance sales manager was one of the nicest, kindest, most helpful employees I have ever encountered. I have dealt with a lot of local appliance sellers, due to furnishing over 30 places with appliances in the last year, and he was by far my favorite. He made us feel like family and was juggling tons of customers with kindness and ease. We encountered a hiccup at checkout when the promotion code wasn't scanning in the system for our appliance purchase. The employee knew it had to be an error, as he knew the promotion was valid and it also automatically applied to our online shopping cart. (We couldn't process the order online though, because some appliances were back ordered and required different delivery dates, which is why we went in). We even drove to ask about how to make the purchase the day before and the employee said to come and do it in store. Anyway, when the manager came over to assist the employee, instead of even attempting to help he he told us "to just go home and order online." It was extremely rude. When we explained that we couldn't, he tried to persuade us to pay the $800 extra, in lieu of us submitting rebate forms for a $500 gift card. I wasn't really thrilled with that, as I didn't want to have to spend that much money up front. He said right in front of us "do what ever you need to do to get them out of here" and we both felt really low and offended. We weren't being difficult or doing anything wrong. We were also making the biggest cash purchase of our lives thus far ($10,000 cafe appliances). The employee apologized for him and got us out of there with the right cost and said at least we still had the rebates from the manager to use as consolace. When we got home, we entered the rebates online to find out they were expired in 2019, so thank goodness we didn't take the bait because we really would have been out. It was unfortunate that this gentleman made us feel this way and I feel really bad for the employees who call on him for help.
