I seldom shop in this store,but it was overall it was a disappointment experience. The store shelves were difficult to shop for items, mixed and unorganized. The personnel seemed too busy, yet , there was only one customer in front of me. The atmosphere was unfriendly. I shop Home Depot for ease to shop and waste little time, a friendly atmosphere always helps to continue to return to my home area store. As a contractor, I have ample choices to do my shopping for materials. Last year I gave Homedepot over 35% of my total business that’s over 10,000 dollars. It should be a mutual profit to assist and keep contractors in Home Depot, we recommend our customers to shop there and direct them to make continued purchases. I look forward to better improvements in the coming year. My store in ALSIP is smaller Home Depot yet well managed. Thank you.

Tool/truck rental is awesome in this store. the staff were very helpful and even followed up with me when they saw me again.

The Chicago Ridge Home Depot is a great place to shop. I have been shopping there for decades. It has great parking, friendly courteous knowledgeable and proficient workers. The store is always in order, and has never been out of stock on anything I have ever wanted to purchase. And the merchandise is competitive in quality and price.

Everyone from employees and store manager are very helpful here. They always go above and beyond when needing assistance. I am here weekly buying supplies and I always have a pleasant experience.

This store was great. Well stocked. Friendly staff. We were quite impressed.

Call the store to see if item was in stock, and Store employer took his Time to fine The item that I needed. It was in various spots in the store so it took him about five minutes. He could’ve given up and said we don’t have it but he didn’t he kept looking until he found what I needed and then he set it aside for me. That’s REAL!!!customer service.

Always clean in there. Tami and Maureen are awesome cashiers (I never do self checkout. I don't work for Home Depot, I shouldn't have to scan my own stuff.)

Linda Pinner in the appliances department was so nice and patient. She really knows her stuff!

Staff are always happy to help from youngest to oldest! They're clearance and sale aisle are always a steal!! Have tons of others home depots around and always make the drive is never a loss!!

This is my favorite of the Homedepot’s. It’s always clean and well stocked. Most of all no matter which staff member you ask for something they know where it’s at. Even if I describe an item like that “round thing that screws stuff in” I actually use those big technical terms and most employees know what I mean. Really! It helps. Or this one , ya know that tape that sticks stuff to walls, they knew what I was talking about. It’s hard to remember brand names. lol

I’ve visited several stores in the Chicago area and have not found a more helpful worker than Jimmy in the Garden Department! Because of his quality of service, I’ve found my store that I can count on. His dedication spreads throughout the store because when I asked for help, I was told by another worker, to see Jimmy!!!

The ProDesk at this store was great to work with. Specifically our salesperson Niezar, made a complicated ordering process much easier.

Clean and organized, but need more employees with knowledge on the department that they’re working.

Store employees looking up things on their phones are worthless. It took 12 minutes to key in an item that didn’t have a price tag on it after they made me walk to the aisle to take a picture of the item myself. Then clicking away on their phone, they couldn’t decipher the item number so finally just punched in the price. After my 12 minutes at the register, it then took 21 minutes to get a propane tank I already paid for. The machine naturally malfunctioned so it then took close to 15 minutes for the employees to take their time and find the keys. I have never been so dissatisfied with a shopping experience. Will not be back at Home Depot because quality of employees is down since adopting the phone look up system. Embarrassing.

Beverly in flooring went above and beyond to assist us picking out flooring for our remodel. Pleasant , helpful and knowledgeable. Couldn’t of asked for more

The store was organized.

The item I wanted to buy was on a shelf and store help would have to retrieve it. There was floor space available to store this item, however it was empty. When I asked for help an associate paged a Garden employee. I waited 20 minutes. There was several pages during this time. I chose a more expensive item that was at floor level and proceeded to check out. While waiting to check out, I heard the page for a Garden associate. Still unanswered. I feel this is possibly a store tactic to encourage the customer to spend more when it is unnecessary.

Products easy to find with Home Depot app. Associates were friendly and helpful. Bill (electric) helped me to figure out how to collapse the portable grill I purchased.

I was profiled and embarassed at this home depot ny it's employees. They treat assume their customers are mostly criminals. That's what happens when they hire ghetto employees. You are what you eat.

Angela Anderson and Sara Batchelor, have been AWESOME with helping me endure the process of a complete Kitchen redo. Had I not had these two along with Mr. Steve from the flooring department, don't know how I would have made it through. Thank you!!

Multiple encounters with rude employees. First they stated you receive a discount for being a first responder in the town you shop in. Next time I was told “we don’t do that”. Employees need to be on the same page. Could care less about the discount, it’s the principal of people not knowing what’s going on.

The employees were very helpful and friendly.

The parking lot is clean and tidy. The personal are friendly, accommodating and helpful. Curbside pickup is a breeze.

I have never ran across an employee at the Chicago Ridge store who did not ask If I needed help before I asked them.
