Never met a manager who could not override a price. Went in on 5/8 to buy a grill. Customer Service quoted she was too busy. The cashier was friendly. But when it came to check out the price was ringing up wrong. Yes the exact product the ad was for. Manager stated she couldn’t help and if I wanted the cheaper cost to open a HD CC. I already have one, I told her. She then said open up another, you can have up to three. Then walked away….. this was not a online order ad, nor an internet special or any other special. I provided the sales ad and still no help or price over ride. 50 bucks is 50bucks.

The team in the flooring department of the Chicago Ridge location went above and beyond to complete our complex flooring project order. Supervisor Sean was extremely helpful, Steve Struthleis, I believe that's his last name, came in on his day off to assist in the order closing, and Amanda was very knowledgeable and diligent to get the project order completed. I COULD NOT FIND THE ITEM I WAS LOOKING FOR AND I ASKED JENNIFER FOR HELP. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHEN THE ITEM WAS NOT WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. SHE KEPT LOOKING TILL SHE FOUND IT! VERY PROFESSIONAL YOUNG LADY!

I went to the store with my bichon frise dog. I didn’t have anybody to take care of him. We were shopping suddenly a man was with a walking stick, then my dog barked at him for a few seconds ( my dog is adopted and used to be abused, however my dog was on leash). Then a white guy told me “he cannot be here, your dog is aggressive”. I felt unwelcome, I am a customer just everybody in the store. He my dog wasn’t barking all the time.

Always greeted my friendly people and each department has a person that knows there stuff have a great time each time i go there.

I purchased a BBQ grill and had outstanding employees find me the grill, unscrew a side portion so that I could fit in my car and they walked the grill to my vehicle and put it in. They really helped me. They went above and beyond!!!

In the past I would definitely recommend this store over the Bedford Park location. Because of service and availability. But after today being racially profiled I will never shop this location again.

Very rude and unprofessional employees, managers are even worst. One of them was just running towards my father and I, yelling out loud “ask him fir a receipt”!!!!! Running like we stole a bank. Give them the receipt and they didn’t even bother apologizing! I’ve been going there for years, was never asked to show receipts before. This lady was just rude looks like she has issues with people aren’t he color skin.

I went to the Chicago Ridge store to buy a sheet of drywall and I needed it cut in half to fit in my car, the lumber manager refused to do it and said it was store policy. What a crazy policy, I have had plywood and drywall cut there before. I went to a different manager and he was kind enough to help me. I 'am sorry that I didn't get the name of manager who was trying to help me.

On 1/17/21 at approximately 5:15pm I entered this Home Depot (in Chicago Ridge, IL 60415) seeking advice on two things I was looking for. Previously I had gone to a different Home Depot and was told a certain drill bit would fit the drill that I purchased (on the same day). They did not fit and I didn't want to continue to get misinformation from the same Home Depot so I went to this one instead. On my visit a young man was called to the "power tools/hardware" section, by the name of Ulysses, in order to help me correctly purchase the drill bits that I needed. The employee was completely and utterly rude, dismissive and disrespectful. It was bad enough I was given bad information from a previous H.D. but being treated the way I was was unreal!! I'll drive further for a different home improvement store before going to this one again!!
