      Custom Screens Fiasco
      Bought 2 custom window screens over 2 months ago... waited until I received an e-mail from HD stating that someone picked up the items, WHICH WAS NOT US, and then proceeded to go into the HD to see if they were at the store. Found out that someone "may have stolen" them and the person helping us was so lazy to help, and more concerned about her lunch then really helping at all. Had to drill her about getting a refund, or she would have just let us walk outta the door, without any resolution. So 2 months to get 2 screens made, and to come out with nothing... this was a horrible experience all around.

        I picked up more items than I originally went in for and didn’t think to grab a cart. Dimah and Marcos were exceptional and helpful at self checkout helping me get my items scanned and out the door quickly!

            Great service!
            I’ve always found an employee nearby who knows a lot about their product area. Even though the return department is often busy with a line of customers, they usually have all four registers manned which move things along.

              Excellent customer service
              Kudos to April from the customer service desk. She helped me locate a repurchase of items used for a bathroom renovation in 2022. April was able to locate what I needed off my original receipt. April walked me to the correct aisle and called Harina (SP ?) Rosado for help getting the heavy boxes off the shelves and onto my flatbed.

                Great service with a smile
                This particular Home Depot was well organized and had friendly staff. The Lowe’s on Alamo Parkway is very trashed and disheveled and completely unorganized. Although this particular Home Depot is not close to my home, I prefer this one much more than the Home Depot that is less than 5 miles from my home specifically for the friendly staff like Jared Baker the millwork specialist.

                            Wanted to add my experience at this store - this is a typical experience at this poorly managed store
                            All the carts are wet because no one bothered to bring enough inside before it rained last night. Why? Then 3 workers are talking at the return area and no one asked if we needed anything - not our whole 20 minutes in the store did any employee say a word to us, even though 9 out of the 10 employees I saw did not appear to be doing anything. Checkout again 3 workers talking while I do all the work? Then the convenient exit door was locked and an employee said "the door is locked" I asked why he just said "I don't know". How about he finds out why the only convenient exit is locked? Then who is actually in charge of the store letting this door to remained locked? We were still having some light rain and having this door locked made my Wife, 2 young grandsons and I walk the long way around in the light rain. What kind of management do you have at this store? I think it was locked because of the the early morning hard rain that has now stopped. How about teaching management and employees to think sometimes!

                                          The difrference between good customer service and great customer service
                                          I recently found yslef in a bind for cas for a needed home project. I was goinf to pay cash Until "Christina" approached me at the checkout and asked me if I was interested in applying for a credit card. I was not to keen on it at first but she encouraged me to try any way. I was approved and was able to save $50 on my purchase and pay for the rest with my cash and now have a $5,00 credit card. Plus Homedepot no has a loyal customer thanks to Christina.

                                              Don't trust installation services
                                              I talked to a sales man and wanted to order carper to replace the carpet in my RV. We looked at pictures of the RV and floor plan so I could explain where the seams would have to be for the slide outs. a week later someone came out to measure the floor. He mentioned they do RV but not often only about 1 or 2 a year. Then the next day I got a quote. I noticed they did not put seams in for the slide outs. I discussed it in detail and they adjusted my quote to account for the RV slide outs. We could not apply my military discount without me going to the store. The following Saturday I went to Home Depot and spoke to Alejandro because Steve wasn't there that day. We finished up small adjustments and I signed a contract with Home Depot. The contract could be cancelled only in the first three days. So Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Tuesday I called to get an estimate when they would be out so I could make sure I was there and not at a Dr appointment. The flooring guy whom I spoke to said it should be within 10 days to 2 weeks but he was gave me the extension number of the expediter and I should call him. I called and left a message. I get a call back telling me sorry they don't install in RV's. First off this is past the cut off to cancel the contract. Secondly everyone from start to finish when I paid for it knew it was an RV. NO ONE had a problem with it being an RV all the way up to paying for it. Now that I have paid for it and I am waiting for it to be installed I am told their contractor won't do RV's. This is just not acceptable!! At this point Home Depot should find another contractor that will install in an RV even if they don't do it in the future they should do it because they have already entered into a contract with me and should do it because they are committed to doing it. It doesn't matter that someone made a mistake and evidently it was a everyone that worked on this sale was making the same mistake, that they don't do RV's. But since Home Depot entered into the contract they should honor it.

                                                  I lost my house key and needed a replacement. I asked for assistance but no showed up to assist me for over 10 minutes. Finally, after asking a cashier for the second time to page someone over the intercom. Jason aka The Pro walked up and asked if I needed any help. This gentlemen was so polite and apologetic for the delay. He went above and beyond to help me with replacing my house key and he also checked on an item that I needed from his store. Thank you so much Jason..You really are a Pro.

                                                    Waited over 40 minutes for a manager
                                                    To unlock a grill when I went inside to return it the 2nd manager said she was “stuck” with another customer and pointed to the right of the store but she came from the left side of the store so she finished with that customer and didn’t even bother to check on the one that had been waiting and never called anyone else to follow up. Cashier Alanni didn’t even bother to listen to me, neither of them even tried to apologize for the wait at all or the situation. Very frustrating to feel ignored when you’re face to face with customer service and they can’t even look at you

                                                      I went to visit the store to see if their customer service and product selection was better than my last visit. I was pleased with the product selection and price but not the customer service. I can only say I was very dissappointed.
