Aspen Hill Home Deport failed to deliver my order that I paid a $79 delivery fee, no call no show. I was on hold for 1.5 hours for then to tell me they didn't have a truck to make delivery, and I had to come in- AN HOUR AND a HALF FOR NOTHING. Yes, while in the store, everyone is friendly, but phone/none in-person customer service is non-existent and unacceptable. Bottom line don't waste your money with "express delivery" because they don't even have trucks to deliver your items, in the end, it will cost you HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS to have it resolved...

Your cashier Norah gave me the worst customer service ever yelled at me told me I had to pay with cash obligated was not helpful at all I applied for a Home Depot card I got approved I use 499.00 dollars and I wanted to pay my difference which was 322.00 my total was 821.97 cents she was extremely rude unprofessional I told her I wanted to pay my difference with credit card and she said I had to pay cash or she was going to void everything she was going back and forth with me arguing with me yelling I had the cashier leader come but she didn’t even apologize for how her employee was treating me no customer service at all so I had marketta and Abigail which helped me threw out the whole process we were able to proceed the payment with my debit card even though the leader cashier voided everything and made me do it all over agian the process but they were able to help me so great full for the last moment experience!

Placed a $5,000+ order for appliances. Set delivery for two months in the future. Was told someone would call me to confirm delivery three days prior. Two days prior no one called, so I contact them via their text service. A very helpful representative, responded to my text, confirmed the number and type of appliances to be delivered, and told me that I would receive an automated call with a 4 hour window as to when they would be delivered. I received the automated call. I called my contractor for removal of old appliances and haul away. Delivery day comes. I took the day off work to take delivery. When driver arrives he says they didn’t give him one of the appliances. I asked driver to not deliver any of appliances he brought until they all can be delivered. Called HD to ask what happened. On the first two calls I was hung up on twice, on the third call no one could tell me what happened nor could they connect me to the appliance department manager. Not having received an acceptable explanation (or any explanation at all), I drove out to HD to speak with the manager. When I walked into the appliances department and asked for the manager, another employee tells me she’s handling my issue. She says that although my order was placed and I paid for it, the manufacturer has no record of the order and therefore they didn’t ship it. She tries to call several numbers and can’t get anywhere. A “manager” shows up and says that because there’s no order with the manufacturer, she will have to cancel my order, issue a refund, and then re-place the order, but there won’t be any possible deliveries in the near future. I asked the “manager” to please cancel my entire order and issue a full refund. I also said to her that now my plans are to run across town and place my order at a competitor's outlet. She proceeds to cancel my order. I then ask to speak to the store manager. She says that she’s acting as the store manager and that I could just speak to her. I let her know what a major disappointment and inconvenience this has been. That I’m losing money because of missing work and that my contractor has 1/3 of the project in his pocket. I also let her know how inefficient their communications are, both internal and external. That I never received their “3-day prior to delivery” call and that had it not been for me texting I probably wouldn’t have receive any information, that even though I confirmed what was being delivered and on what date, they still failed to delivered what had been confirmed. And that I find it truly hard to believe that there’s no communication between them and their suppliers, even though HD is a multi-billion dollar corporation that should be able to do simple supply chain and logistics tasks with their hands tied behind their backs. Throughout all this, all I got was a “deer-in-the headlights” look and “I apologize.” Not once did anyone asked, “This is on us, we’re sorry. What can we do to correct this? Or, what can we do to keep you as a customer?” Home Depot failed in their ability to fulfilled their obligations under a purchase contract. Their response and behavior following this encounter demonstrated its lack of willingness to correct a problem and their absence of customer care.

In my opinion, they do not sense that you may need help and do not approach customers. On the other hand, the Garden Shop Cashiers are always very courteous, professional and efficient.

    I witnessed workplace bullying and harassment by a male employee against a female employee. She has been very kind and helpful and she's the reason I made all my kitchen remodeling purchases at Home Depot -- I had trust in her. But he was rude to her and he's been taking credit for her work. He even yelled at her "Don't mess it up" in front of me, even though he's the one I was trying to avoid. He's the reason why I did not use Home Depot a couple of years ago for another remodeling project. We had initiated working on this project with him in the spring. However, after months of following up with him to obtain the design, the measurements, and the cost breakdown, we simply gave up and we thought of using another vendor. He could never send us what we asked for and was never available in a convenient time for us to meet. Until, one day in August 2019, we ran into her and she built our confidence in her. She always put our needs first. After this turn of events, we decided to stay with Home Depot for this project but only if she is the one helping us. We did not want to see the male employee. But yesterday, we witnessed how he was harassing and bullying her. And we just can't stand by and watch.

You can tell that the employees are trained and sincerely happy working there which has to be a result of good management. keeping the store was stocked, clean, neat, and organized. You don’t see this kind of customer service anymore these days anywhere where employees go out of their way to help their customers and offer help with a smile.
