Betty in kitchen design helped me design a lovely kitchen for a fraction of the builder’s price with better materials.

I visited Home Depot in midtown Anchorage after checking all the other Home Depot stores within 100 miles. This store had plenty of stock for the items I selected, had three people help me complete my order and got my stuff loaded in my truck so I didn't have to touch anything. They even bundled and wrapped my order to protect it from the weather. Great experience and now I have all the product I need to complete my job.

Ed in flooring was very helpful with our home project. Love working with him.

I was walked through throughly through out the doors and windows isle for my installment needs and Becs answered all my questions very firmly and correct and she was very sweet and kind she went above and beyond to help!

I found Ed and Erik very helpful and friendly.

I walked into the store not knowing where I could find a wooden pole for my closet. I only had the measurement number. I walked up to a young man behind the paint desk and asked if he could help me. looking for a wooden pole and hardware for my coat closet. He walked from through the whole process start to finish and I was out of there very satisfied!

Got in and out in minutes thanks for the help finding this item!

Great customer service from John at the customer service front desk. Took care of me and got me the snow blower I asked for. I reccommend his expertise to any one shopping!

They will send you a poorly assembled item that is missing pieces. Then you get to spend hours on the phone trying to get any assistance.

Needed a flooring project done for the hallway. Went to this store and was promptly helped by Ed of flooring department. He helped us get the laminate oak flooring we wanted and everything. Installer Lonn was quick and friendly too.

Once again, Home Depot on Tudor in Anchorage went beyond our expectations. Two different employees -- Kathy in appliances and Jordan in paint -- took a lot of time to hear what we needed to know and to help. us with a lot of different questions. They both also answered questions we didn't know we had and gave us extra information to make our projects and plans have better results. We're grateful to have old-fashioned service in a big store. Thanks.

I bought major appliances at this store to be shipped to Bethel and our Service Representative, Glen Reed was AWESOME!!! He knew the appliances and logistics to ship to Bethel. I’d work with him anytime!!

There were three employees in the garden center two in the way back goofing around and then a girl wandering around aimlessly offering no customer service whatsoever

The convenience of this location being close to my work is all this Home Depot has going for it. Several weeks ago, after an abnormally large amount of snow hit Anchorage, I went to this Home Depot and purchased a snow blower to use at work to clear our parking lot. The store is only 1/2 mile away from my shop. I left HD, got to my shop, and had the snow blower put together and running in less than 30 minutes. After about 15 minutes of use, I realized this snow blower was insufficient for our needs. I needed one just a little bigger. So, I returned to the store to exchange the snow blower. I was told that all snow blower sales at this particular location were final and I couldn’t exchange it. I tried to reason with the manager, showing my receipt that was less than an hour old. She said I was welcome to try to return it to another location, but she would not take it back. After several minutes of arguing and showing her the Home Depot Corporate return policy, she said she would take it back. She offered to exchange it. I opted to take my business elsewhere. I will never make a major item purchase from this store again. It’s fine for the little odds and ends and small hand tools that we need. But, nothing bigger than that. There was no prior notice of the “no returns on snow blowers” policy that this particular location has implemented.

I wanted to buy some garden supplies after work, as I am planning to start a desk garden. Home Depot had everything I needed to get started, and the employees are quite friendly. Grace M. at the checkout really helped improve my experience and made my day better.

I was able to get in and out quickly with no hassle. I did have an issue where I was charged twice for a product(double ring-up, my mistake) but I didn't catch until I was home. I thought it was going to be hassle but customer service was very helpful.

The customer service is quality at least when i went recently, they put a great deal of effort into helping us and getting exactly what we needed. We needed a paint match for some paint our house has, no knowledge who originally made the colour, it was painted over 20 years ago and before we moved in, we brought in 3 paint chips the size of a penny / dime, and the Colour is only slightly different but so good a match it is only noticed when it dries and a corner unpainted is left, when side by side honestly there seems to be no difference unless you make an effort to see it, we are going to buy more paint within the next 2 - 4 days love it.

I bought a heater yesterday and very much satisfied.

Ed in the flooring department is fantastic! It certainly feels good to be treated like we matter, which does not always happen in other stores. Well done Ed!

I needed some assistance with my shopping experience and the manger Kyler was a Godsend. He is very patient and helpful. He is definitely a very valuable asset to this Home Depot. Because of his help we are going to make this Home Depot our main store to go to. Thank you Kyler!
