Every time I visit the Alpena store I am greeted when I come in, and every time I see an employee I am always asked if I'm finding everything alright or if I need help finding anything. The store is always neat and clean and it is evident there are continued attempts to keep improving on organization. Although not necessary, I do appreciate the parking spaces for Veterans and the 10% discounts. All cashiers have thanked me for my service and I always look for the opportunity to thank them for their support!

I'd like to thank Barbara Statham for her assistance in purchasing a washer & dryer, she made the process fun !!!

Clean store with knowledgeable employees readily available to be of help!

The associates make the store a great place to shop by being friendly and knowledgeable.

The store manager Lyle Fruchey and his three other managers run an excellent shop. I have dealt with all the managers and many employees over the years, and I am always impressed with knowledge, service and suggestions offered.

I like to go to this store because the associates are helpful & kind. I think because the store is so big, I usually need assistance to find what I'm looking for. Because there are lots of choices & lots of very kind & helpful associates, I almost always come away in good time with what I needed.

I was very happy with the assistance in the kitchen appliance department by Jenny K. She was very helpful and informative.

Store was clean. Employees are always asking if you need help finding. The store usually has what I need on hand, if not, they can order it with a short wait time. Convenient. Helpful. Friendly.

All the associates are very friendly, and knowledgable within their respective departments, which makes shopping easier and more fun.

Some of the friendliest sales associates in the country work at the Alpena Home Depot, always greet you with a smile and ask to assist you. Very knowledgeable people that can suggest ways to get your project done!!!!!!!!

Our "go to" store for home improvements. Usually a great place to shop. Only drawback is the constant hiring of new employees that know less than we do about product!!! We try to seek out the employees that we recognize as knowledgeable from past experience. Store seems to not retain employees for long.

Associates were very helpful and friendly

Seems like every time I go into the store, employees are extremely friendly and know where items are. Most of the time they will walk you to the item. Service deck employees are extremely friendly and courteous and I can say I never had a problem with a return.

I found everything that I needed and an employee walked up to me and asked if I needed help locating things and after he did help me, he asked if I needed any assistance to my vehicle, because I am quite small and bought two vertical sets of patio blends. These are also heavy for me and he got help for that also. It was a great day at Home Depot.

Everything is well organized, so easy to find; large variety of items; clean store; helpful staff; great website (easy to find information of the product and/or option of buying and picking up at the store).

I had a great employee experience with the help and assistance of the wonderful employee name Beckie. She assisted me in a easy, kind and helpful manner with tile, kitchen cupboard hardware and getting person to help me choose the right grout for the tile and then she kindly loaded my car. As I am a senior citizen and not too strong it was wonderful!

The staff and management were very helpful, in spite of our being less than decisive with appliance and lighting product selection/purchase, for our home remodeling efforts. Kudos to the department leads, store management, and register staff, for embracing the true spirit of Customer Service, even just minutes prior to store closing (after a long day, I'm sure). It is very much appreciated! We'll be making the trip up here (from Oscoda) again, as this store has earned our repeat business.

Store had what I needed and I had no trouble getting an associate to help me find what I needed. Also, I had gotten the wrong size and had no trouble with the return and exchange for the correct size I needed. Home Depot even price matched an item on sale at a different store when I mentioned the price difference.

Main problem I find is not the stores fault. People take things out of boxes and then put them back in another. I pretty much double check to make sure I have the right item.

Associate Mary went out of her way to fabricate a cover for my ignition key. I have very painful arthritis in my fingers and have had great difficulty starting my car. I asked if the store carried anything like that, and since they don't, she went about figuring a way to MAKE me one, and did. I am very grateful to her for her efforts!

Everthing was Great

I always have a good experience in our Alpena store. Recently, I had an extra special experience because of Mike. I brought my son into the store with his drums (he plays quads in the AHS band). The harness needed some repair. Not only did Mike find the correct hardware, he helped my son fix it on the spot. Mike was amazing.
