Overall, our Alpena store is wonderful! Some of the employees have been there for years some come, go, and then return, and that says a lot about Home Depot! And, maybe it is because of our smaller town, but it is really nice when you walk around the store and are greeted, not just because you are shopping their store but because they remember you. Again, Love our HD!

This store is very well organized. The staff are very helpful in answering any questions and making suggestion.

I am in the process of remodeling my mother's kitchen for her and I've been in the store many times to look and ask questions. Kathy in appliances was a great help there, when I bought new appliances. Another time after that purchase, she saw me by the counter top samples and door style samples, looking very frustrated. I was trying to find what I had coming for the cabinet refacing to show my brother, who was in town. She spent a lot of time trying to find a copy of my order and then making phone calls, all to no avail. Why you don't have copies available from your sub-contractors, I don't know. But Kathy definitely went all out to try and help me.

This store overall is a good place to shop, and they have great buys. The employees on the whole are very receptive and friendly, although a few have their bad days, which I've experienced. The store is normally clean and organized and have most everything I shop for. If you are handy-capped or have trouble loading material, I suggest you bring some help with you, because this store lacks personnel that are willing to come help you load your materials. I actually asked a floor worker to help me load up some plywood and he said he'd be right back. My wife seen him head to the back of the store and he was not seen again. We had to struggle loading it ourselves, and me with a bad heart and back! At the check out, the girl called for assistance to help load, but after 15 mins, she said she would call again. We waited another 10 mins and we went out and loaded ourselves. Two times I've had this happen to me, so now I bring a neighbor friend, that I pay, to go with me to Home Depot when I need material. Very sad!

The staff at the Alpena store are very knowledgeable regarding their department. Everyone is always helpful. When walking through the store, the associates are always asking if they can help. I definitely recommend shopping here.

I tried to purchase all my kitchen appliances at once but I couldn't get an associate to assist me.

Three for three since I moved to Greenbush Michigan I've been to Home Depot in Alpena three times each time I have the same opinion the people were friendly the store was spotless and had a great experience each time plus they gave me my military discount as I am service-related disabled they are a great group they should really seem to have it together

The people working in the department's have always been very friendly and the store very clean. When I bought my husband a snowblower for Christmas the man explained everything about it and the same for our riding lawn mower. He even helped load it! I'm very happy with Alpena Home Depot.

Usually, this store has NAILED IT!, but not lately. I will travel a little farther to get what I need, if things don't change.

I shop on a regular basis, this store needs more help.

I had a bad encounter with a cahier named Melanie. She didn't smile or thank me when I left. She was really snappy with other customers including myself.

Pretty much anything you need in 1 store

This store usually has the items needed. They have good employees and are convenient - at least most convenient to us at 40 miles. And, have had the products required.

Staff go out of their way to assist. Very friendly environment. Would highly recommend to neighbors and friends. Great inventory
