I bought on in late 2019 and it broke in an irreparable way 2.5 years later. I’d happily pay more for a more durable option but this is all that seems to be out there in this vintage shape and style

I just bought it, but these have a tendency to break after a short time. So far so good, but too early to tell.

I thought the return spring on the knob was to loose, but you get what you pay for

One of the adjustable bosses broke in the threaded area. I did a less than satisfactory adjustment with a regular bolt and nut. The round handle works, but awkwardly.

I've purchased this item probably about 4 times over the last 10 years or so to replace the handle on my front screen door. If you look at the expanded picture, you'll see that the piece with the round handle, which goes on the outside, has two thread extenders which receive the bolt threads from the inside piece. Those thread extenders repeatedly broke off after about a year or two, and I could not find any to replace them, even though they do unscrew. So, when they break off, you have to replace the entire handle set. I finally switched to a different solution, the Barton Kramer Silver Aluminum Screen Door Handle Set Latches https://www.homedepot.com/p/Silver-Aluminum-Screen-Door-Handle-Set-Latches-327/205616366. Reviews of that product said it was sturdy. I just installed it, and it does not have the small pieces that usually break off. And, the outdoor handle itself doesn't move, so that shouldn't break off either. The connection between the outdoor button and the indoor latching mechanism is a simple solid bar, so the design seems more robust. Only time will tell if some other weak point reveals itself, but at this point I'm optimistic. Because of the frequent breaks I've experienced with this Wright product, I do not recommend it.
